June 03 - June 09

June 03 (Monday) = Backdoor still closed. Client awake, sitting on the bed. Put dog outside and made coffee. Client just had coffee, and told me that she's right about the neighbor beside her, the one who told about the skunk. Says the guy has a temper as she was lying in bed and all of a sudden hears a big boom. I told her it must have been the garbage truck. Then I had spent about 1 hour and 30 mins. with her looking for the "new Jewish bakery on 6600 block," looking on the magazine and calling on the phone, asked me to call the Chinese fast food as maybe they knew about it thou I told her it's not on that place. And asked me to drive around the block to look for it. Saw KOSHER PLACE but building was for rent. Told client about it. Then called the Jewish magazine, a guy gave us a number and client called. Left about 10 minutes before 11 am and went to Great Wall Express for Chinese food. Got fried rice, teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. Had spent $5.93 with my card. Also client wants me to drop by to KOSHER PLACE and asked for menu, so I drove by there again by the corner but still closed, says for rent as I said before. So I told her. And we thought it probably was the other KOSHER PLACE she called. Client watching tv and woke her up for lunch. Had lunch around 11:45 am, had fried rice, teriyaki and orange chicken and Diet Coke for drink. Later told me it was really good but asked me if I thought it was peppery? Told her there's no pepper in any of the food. Gave Atenolol before 1 pm, also was anxious about her check coming, told her there's no mail yet and mail man would arrived about 2 pm. So told her instead she could, and I would mail her payment/check for the agency tomorrow or when it arrives. Also wrote a letter again for the agency about missing those missing items. Asked me if I still have to go to the office, etc. Left past 1:10 pm.

June 04 (Tuesday) = Dropped by to 99 Cents Store. Spent $25.80 with my card. Back door still closed, got there past 9:30 am. Client sleeping. Put dog outside. Asked what we're gonna have for lunch, but says we'll think about later. Had coffee. Tidied up kitchen and watered back lawn. Received client's check on the mail.Went to her room past 10:35 am, had summed up of whatever she owes me for the whole month. Totaled $244.12 but just told her $244. Wrote check for $244. Then she's thought of Mexican food and broom, mop, and dust pan all of a sudden and asked me to call 99 Cents Store in Lemon Grove and asked them for the name of the Mexican food there too. Lady said they had all three items I called for and is on aisle 10, MExican food close to them os "Cotijas." Told client and she asked me to call Cotijas. Then asked me if I want Mexican food and I said not really, but I'll get that if she wants that for lunch. ALSO she was just about to pay me for the $244 she owes me for a month and she's going to owe me AGAIN as she wants me to pay for 99 Cents and for lunch. Told her she's going to pay me and owe me again. And by her next check she will owe me over $200 again! Says, "Why are you bringing this up now?" Feels like as if it comes with my job to lend her money, or something like that. I didn't pursue as she seems upset. But also told her about her having to pay the office $700. (For this week and last week.) So went to the bank before 11 am, teller "Maria,"the new lady :) and helped me. Also told them about client needing enough to her checking account for $700. Also Carlos was there and told him that too. Then next to Burger King and got 2 double cheese burger and value fries. Spent $4.61 with my card. Woke up client for the lunch about 11:40 ' sh am. She had cheese burger, fries, olives and water for drink. About 12:20 pm, gave client her Atenolol, and told her I'd decided to go to 99 Cents Store in Lemon Grove and get the mop, broom and dust pan, 2 insects sticky pad, and 2 taffy candies. Spent $7.44 with my card. Client sleeping when I came back. Woke client up and told her I'm back and got all the items. Gave me taffies. Tv on. Left past 1:10 pm. Then I was on my way, past the school when I remember about the check for the office. Decided to call client, and had rang phone once but decided I should just come back. Came back to client's home and had woke her up, told her I forgot something, her payment for the office. So she wrote a check for $700 and I dropped it off post office's drop box. Also client had told me bank, Carlos had called. Left 1:31 pm.

PAID: $244 (Owes me $244.12) THEN OWE me again for BK (for lunch; $4.61 amount above) and La Mesa 99 Cents store (the $7.44 amount above.)

June 05 (Wednesday) = Dog outside by the backdoor, client sitting in the kitchen.Put dog on leased back as it turned out he hadn't gone outside yet and client just put him on leased. She had tea and walked back with it on her room. Was telling about her arthritis pain. Tidied up kitchen. Wiped hallways' restroom counter and client  asked me to put jars in there to make it nicer. So I put the bigger jar in there from her husband's room.  Shampooed carpet on vacant room. Client on the phone, trying to call CVS and Marshall's. Got hold of CVS and told me CVS has cucumber peel for $3.99. Also had talked about lunch and decided on Subway. Wrote a check for Rite-Aid for denture cream she said she saw on tv ad. Asked her what brand is it and she doesn't know. So told her I could go in there and look. Also wants 1 soda pop. Told me I have to pay for Subway and told her too I'm going to pay for CVS as well as she only wrote check for Rite-Aid. Tv was on. Left before 11 am, and went to Subway first. Got 6" tuna sandwich and spent $4.70 with my card. Went next to CVS and got the cucumber face peel mask for $4.31. Stopped by to Rite-Aid last and got a small denture cream for over $2 and 1 Diet Coke for .99 cents. Paid with client's check. Arrived with client sitting on the kitchen and had prepared 3 cookies on paper towel that I got from 99 Cents Store, the remaining coleslaw, and cottage cheese. Had me tried the face mask and let me put some on her as well and she walks back in her room. Peeled off client's face mask 12 noon and told her she has to rinse it with warm water. I prepared lunch. Client rinsed her face and told me she doesn't like the sink in the hallway restroom, she can hardly reach the faucet, etc. Client had lunch @ 12:15 pm. Had tuna sandwich, steamed brussells, some olives and Diet Coke for drink. Walked back to kitchen with the plate @ 12:40 'sh and asked for another glass of soda pop. And says too that brussels wasn't cooked. Showed her the Utility bill, I opened it, told her I'm going to send it to her son and she pull out more mails from her walker - Cox bill too which is due June 7th and 2 other mails for her husband. Went back to her room and says there's one more mail, for house tax. Helped her looked for it, and I ended up calling client's son as she asked me too about the house tax bill, and client's son asked me if client had paid me with the $44.97 client owes me for her husband's stuffs. Told him no, and says he will, but had forgot it. Left outgoing mail on the front porch. Left 1:20 pm.

June 06 ( Thursday) = OFF!

June 07 (Friday) = Backdoor still closed, client sleeping. Put dog outside. Tidied up kitchen. Tidied up client's bedroom and emptied commode. Client woke up and had coffee and had taken 2 Tylenol's with it @ 10:30 am, also rubbed her back, left shoulder and legs with pain cream, says she has a real headache, hadn't had lunch and dinner. Asked her if she wants some soup so she could have something in her stomach, but then remembers she had eaten some breads. Went back to sleep again. Cleaned fridge. Client awake by 10:35 'sh am and says needs eggs. Went through what she wants me to get, had called Vons and Ralphs as she wants lamb chops, or beef liver. Both doesn't have it. She wrote two checks: Vons and Rite-Aid. Left past 11 am and went first to Vons, got items on the list, but not the ground round as I already had the chicken wings and steak. Paid with client's check. Next to Burger King and got 2 double cheese burgers. Spent $3.22 with my card. Dropped by last to Rite-Aid to pick up client's refill. Got Hydrochlorothiazide, tech. in training asked me if I knew about the other medicine (Atenolol) and told her it is out of refill and needs doctors approval and she says she's going to RESEND it as it's been a week ago. :) Got back just before 12 noon, client sleeping and went to make steamed zucchini. Woke up client for lunch, 12:14 pm and she had double cheese burger, sweet corn, steamed zucchini and water for drink. Says she doesn't like the double cheese burger. I had the tv on as client remembers her show. Tidied up kitchen. Told client she cannot take another Tylenol, not until 6:30 pm. Left 1:10 pm.

June 08 (Saturday) = (A bit gloomy today.) Back door still closed. Client sleeping. Put dog outside, tided up client's room while client sleeps. She later had tea and gave her morning med. (hydrochlorothiazide) but doesn't want egg (as she told me I could have eggs.) Tidied up kitchen and defrosted 1 piece of steak. Client watching tv while I cleaned drawers in the kitchen and sorts out receipts. Client had lunch about 11:45 am, woke her up for it, had 3 pieces of glazed chicken wings, sauteed mix of vegetables (chards, spinach, etc.) and sweet yam. Had water for drink. Dog had eaten his own food too and hadn't bothered client with hers. Made steak and corn for clients meal. And she still has the macaroni and cheese and steamed zucchini in fridge. Tidied up the kitchen. Client had fallen asleep again after lunch. Left 1:06 pm, woke up client to let her know I'm leaving. Heater was turned off.

June 09 (Sunday) = OFF!
