June 17 - June 23

June 17 (Monday) = Went to work 10 am. Back door still closed. Client awake, and said she thought I'm going to go to work LATER tomorrow NOT today. So I reminded her our talked last Saturday when she lied down in bed for a nap. I told her then I would come 10 Monday and the remaining hours on Tues and she said "we'd do it my way." And I further explained that is because if I went to work before 11 am Monday, I'd have only 2 hours to work so I'd come 10 Monday and do the rest of hours on Tues. Already 2:45 when I left last Saturday. Put dog outside. Washed dishes and made coffee. Client had coffee just before 10:30 am, refused to take her am med. as she again think it has something to do with her frequent trip on the commode so again she said she wanted to skip it today and see if it was causing it. Emptied commode and changed soiled rug in the room. Brought soiled rugs outside, rinsed and sprayed with Lysol with Bleach. Turned on tv about 11 am on client's room, she was looking for "The View," but told her it was prolly over, she watched news instead. Talked about lunch about 11:20 am, client decided oven roasted chicken on Subway and said she was craving for a malt. So told her I'm gonna get it on Burger King since Subway doesn't have it. Left before 11:30 am to go to Subway. Got footlong, oven roasted chicken and Sun chips. Spent $6.40 with my card. Also got 1 bottled water as I forgot my lunch bag and I got no water. Paid separately with my water. Went next to BK and got the malt, regular size. (?) Spent $3.23 with my card. Arrived about before 12 noon. Warmed up sandwich and got call from client's granddaughter just wanted to know how's everything going, if client was ok and that they'd be back on Thursday. Client had lunch past 12 noon as I had warmed up the sandwich again, she said its cold. Also had Sun chips cheese and malt. Brought her Calcium vit. about 10 mins. to 1 pm and she had taken it. Fall asleep and had woke her up 1 pm as I was about to go. Thought about the garage again and decided I should try and open the garage again. Had wrote check for the agency, signed my time sheet and gave me Kmart gift card says she'd tell me about it tomorrow when I call her. Told her I'd call her tomorrow as I was planning on Food 4 Less groceries. Left before 1:15 pm.

June (18) = Called client morning before living home and she said "I thought you gonna call me last night." and I told her I said this morning. She had changed her mind and said she doesn't want anything and she's having a bad day. So went work at 9 am. Arrived, dog outside, client awake and it was a bit cold thou heater was off. Had talked with the "going to grocery calling time" and told me about her granddaughter's call last night and that they are coming Thursday. Said she thought I was coming late today as she still owes me some time. So I said just forget it as its ok with me. And she said no, she wouldn't forget and it wasn't ok and she wanted to do the right thing so had asked me how much time she owes me, I said 30 minutes and she told me to do it tomorrow, come later. Turned heater on, helped client putting pain cream and made her tea after. Washed dishes and client had her tea. Soaked soiled clothes and continued drying blanket. Washed 1 rug outside while client is making list for Vons. Client wrote 2 checks: 1 for Vons and 1 for Rite-Aid. In the 10:50 ' sh am when I left. Went first to Subway and got oven roasted chicken footlong and Sun cheese chips. Spent $6.40 with my card. Stopped next to Vons, got items and called client a few times for items. Paid with client checks. Dropped by next to Rite-Aid, got sunglasses (50% off) and asked pharmacy as client wanted on suggestions on which of the pain reliever are good for arthritis as Tylenol isn't a help at all. Chinese Pharmacist helped :) Got Advil 200 mg. Paid with client's check. Almost 12 noon when came back to client's place. Showed her the sunglasses and prepared lunch. Lunch past 12 noon, the oven roasted chicken, chips, some olives and Diet Coke for drink. Brought a small slice of cheesecake after lunch for client. Gave her Calcium vit. before 1 pm. Gave me list for 99 Cents store tomorrow and had asked her too if she wanted me to get beef bacon on Food 4 Less tomorrow as she doesn't have anything for Thursday. Asked me to open bottom drawer on the other bed side some some items she remembers, and some talks. Already 1:15 when I left.

June 19 (Wednesday) = Had dropped by to 99 Cents. Called client @ 9:10 am, when I'm done with the list and she had added few items. Had spent $19.57 with my card. Changed mind for me not to go to Food 4 Less next and instead asked me to go to Kmart and check and gemstones as I still have her Kmart gift card with me. (Kmart gift card was from an item, ring, which she returned after over 2 months.) Dropped by to Kmart and called client and told here there's no turquoise gem and mentioned the gemstones available and the price. Says its too much. So I left and dropped by to Vons instead as as told me about footlong hotdogs and Emmaculate cookies her granddaughter told her. Arrived to Vons and got the Emmaculate frozen cookies but didn't found the footlong hotdogs. Spent $3.79 with my card. Got to client a little past 10 am. Backdoor still closed, client awake, fan in the kitchen was ON. Brought dog outside, made client tea while stocking up the grocery items. Client had coffee and had a little chit-chat. Tv ON. Cleaned kitchen, continued drying blanket and soaked the soiled towel. Washed 2 rugs outside. Received call from client's granddaughter around 11:10 ' sh am about them coming tomorrow and wanting client to try calling her as she had called last night and client said she's unable to contact them. Client sleeping. Prepared lunch past 11:30 am. Had spoke to me about me coming tomorrow, Thursday (son coming), exchanging my coming tomorrow on one of my working day so I told her I'm coming tomorrow and not coming on Tues. next week. And says ok. Client had lunch about 12 noon and had 2 cheese blintzes, sauteed brussells and zucchini in A1 sauce, grapes too. Water for drink. Took her Calcium vit. about 15 minutes before 1 pm. Tried to dial granddaughter's number and got it the 2nd time and spoke to her and her son. Told THEM I was inviting them for lunch tomorrow with footlong hotdog. (She had talked to me about this idea earlier.) Wrote her granddaughter and her son's phone number again and had taped it in her wall. Client called Walmart to ask for footlong hotdog buns and taffy. Had 2 taffy set aside in the bakery for me to pick up tomorrow. Left 1:15 pm, client watching tv.

June 20 ( Thursday) = Dropped by to Walmart. Got the 2 taffy on hold in the bakery for client. Called her and added lawn fertilizer for me to get and "treat" like small dessert or something. Tried to call her maybe 4 times from garden center but phone just beeping. Waited for about 10 minutes or so trying but decided to just get a fertilizer and go. Paid for it and spent $21.83 with my card. Got to client about 9:40 ' sh am. Back door still closed. Client awake. Laundry. Cleaned kitchen. Shampooed vacant room. Turned on tv about 10:36 am and told client we have Burger King coupons, what the coupons are, and what she prefers. Went before 11 am to Burger King and used $4.99 coupon for Whopper combo: fries, and soda pop (got Diet Coke.) Spent $5.39 with my card. Got double cheese burger and value onion rings  for me but paid separate. Client had lunch about past 11 am. Had the Whopper combo meal. Shower past 12 noon. Shower leaked again and continued client's shower using a small basin I refilled on the restroom sink. Calcium vit. when client walked back into her room. Fixed her bed. Emptied commode and had changed rugs. Helped her dial her son but dialed it for her the 3rd try. Client started telling her son about the shower but past the phone to me and talked to her son. Filled up some of the info. on the "phone application" but says doctor's authorization is needed left it on the kitchen table, told client about it. Client asked me what time I should have left, I said 1 pm. And asked me the time (1:35 pm) Told me to come later tomorrow for the time she owes me. Client watching tv. Prepared her dinner: turkey pot pie and steamed brussels. Tried shower and it came off on where I had glued it back. Called her son again and told him. Left 2 pm. BTW, Says Advil is better than Tylenol.

June 21 (Friday) = Came in to work 9:30 as client knew she owes me 30 minutes, but I had left 2 pm to finished some work in the kitchen and had called her son about my trying the shower and it came off. Back door still closed and client was already awake. Fan in the kitchen was ON by the way. Put dog outside and tidied up kitchen a bit. Mails and phone application wasn't in the kitchen table. Client had coffee and half bagel, toasted (with butter.) Told me about her granddaughter call and that they didn't dropped by yesterday. Laundry of towels used yesterday on shower. Spent some more time talking with client as she wants to prepare lunch (blintzes) for her son and family and wants me to call her son and asked if they are coming for lunch after today's funeral of client's husband at 10 am. She's also been worrying about a cousin (?) named "F" dropping by with her son. Spent some time calling stores such as Ralphs and Food 4 Less as client wanted to know if they have blintzes in bigger boxes. Finally called her son at 11 am and told me they weren't coming for lunch at client, but they were about to go for lunch on a resto. Still went to Vons, with client's check about 11:10 am. Client took a nap as she was sleepy. Got Diet Pepsi and 2 cheese blintzes, 1 canned dog food and Banquet tv dinners (2.) Paid with clients check. Got back around 11:40 ' sh am, client still asleep, didn't woke her up but went on preparing blintzes, 4 blintzes from last box. Client woke up past 12 noon and let her know I'm making the blintzes. She had lunch shortly after that, maybe 12:11 pm, 2 blintzes, grapes and sour cream and opened 1 apple sauce and Diet Pepsi for drink. Fall asleep after lunch. I received a call from her granddaughter on my cp asking me to leave the backdoor open when I leave. Told her too about client worrying about some other visitors coming with them and she told me it's only THEM. Told it to client when I gave her the Calcium vit. Asked me to cut 3 -4 roses for the bicycle pot in the living room @ 12:56 pm. Asked me the time too and told me to work with my extra time tomorrow. Talked to me about Walmart bathroom towels and she called them, the store. And I, dropping by there tomorrow to look and she's going to owe me again for it. Left 1:18 pm.

June 22 (Saturday) = Should be ON work @ 9:18 am, and I have to drop by to Walmart too for bathroom towels she want to get. Arrived @ Walmart 9:10 am, called client when I got to the "bathroom towels" aisle and she told me about her call to Target and employee named "Lili" nicely helped her by choosing some towels. Got beef ground, and went to the pharmacist wants me to ask about ear drops. (African American.) Got the ear drops. Spent $8.26 with my card. Went to Target, got call from client's granddaughter. got towels but took some time looking for an employee @ Electronics Dept. Got 4 towels set aside for client. Paid $23.72. Arrived almost 10:30 am, back door still closed. Client awake. Quick talk about how she feels, upset, mad, about her son's dropping by yesterday, trees @ the back, etc. Client had coffee and boiled egg. Tidied up kitchen. Told me about the "talk" with her daughter in law she had yesterday. Made 2 blintzes. She had 1 blintz around 12:15 ' sh pm, and some steamed vege with it, brussels, and zucchini and sour cream. Took her Calcium vit. Call from her daughter in law about them being in Home Depot getting boxes, cleaning supplies. Client talked to me about me staying later, making blintzes, about 4, for them so they can have to. But it's up to me. So I said ok, but I and my dad has to go to a Thrift store @ 3 pm. Worked on the blintzes, and client got a call and she learned about them being on Home Depot, and the boxes and she suddenly wants to look for an album on husband's room. She went with me in there and we went and looked. Found photos and she kept them, greenish album found and asked me to hide it on her room, drawer. :) Phone rang. Granddaughter on line. Surprised I was still in there. Told her I made blintzes, tidied up kitchen, changed top blanket. Client back @ room as I told her they are gonna be arriving in about 10 minutes. Son's family arrived. Had boxes and cleaning supplies. Talked with client, let her know current time was 3 pm, talked to me about coming later on Monday. Told her I'd come 10 am Monday and then Tues. (Was later reminded by her granddaughter I'm not coming Tues. as she asked me to come Thurs. so I had changed Thurs. with Tues.) Asked me to call her before I come on Monday. Left 3:27 pm. (Had a talked with her son on my way out.)

June 23 (Sunday) = OFF!
