June 10 - June 16

June 10 (Monday) = Dog outside, client on the phone. Told me she called Target for "Grout" and it's for tile breaks, like paste you put on breaks on tiles. She called Walmart and they don't have it. Told me we need to get it whenever I could go there. Client had coffee, and gave her morning med. Watched tv and fall asleep. tidied up kitchen, client's room, emptied commode and had watered backyard lawn. Client wrote check for Rite-Aid for Tylenol, dog treat, soda pop and I have to exchange Fixodent denture cream to a bigger one. Left about 11 am and went to Subway first, bought 6" tuna sandwich on honey oat bread and Sun Chips. Spent $5.70 with my card. Next to Rite-Aid and got items client wants. Paid with client's check. First register, Claudia, new, but second time she helped me :) Returned the small Fixodent fisrt. Got refund of $2.46. Then paid for the items. Took some time on the register because of the machine with the check. Manager gave me receipt as machine didn't gave receipt. Client had lunch before 12 noon. Had tuna sandwich, some chips, and 2 Oreo chocolate cookies and Diet Coke for drink. Rubbed some 99 Cents pain cream (almost gone) on client's back, nape, arms, and on both legs. Then gave her second cup of soda pop as she asked for some more. Signed my time sheet and wrote check for the office. Also says about the Cox bill, and water and reminded her I sent it to his son last week and she said she didn't know. So I recalled her too about us calling him and I told her he wanted her to sign two checks too to go for those bills. And she remembered about his son has to pay me for what she owes me. Says we have to settle her bills tomorrow. . Left 1:05 pm.

June 11 (Tuesday) = Called client am, as she asked me to call her yesterday before coming. Says it was freezing and gave me items she wanted from 99 Cents Store. @ 99 Cents Store @ 9 am. Got items and spent $10.32 with my card. Called her and told her I could go to Food 4 Less to get the beef liver, also added few items for Food 4 Less. Got items from Food 4 Less and beef liver too and spent $17.36 with my card. Called client telling her I'm on my way around 9:40 'sh am. Client sleeping, cold. Turned on heater and made coffee and turned on tv, stored grocery items. Client had coffee and took her am med. too. Tidied up kitchen, did laundry, cleaned restroom on hallway and the floor too. Made steak for lunch with sauteed mix vegetables. Client had lunch before noon, had steak, sauteed veges., cole slaw, and water for drink. Says lunch was very good :) She had fallen asleep after lunch. Woke her up to let her know I'm leaving @ 1 pm, then remembered her set aside items from Kohl's and told me it needs to be pick up. Asked her if she wanted to write a check for that. Client wrote a check for it and asked me to call Kohl's as she wanna know how much the price would be. Lady employee answered but says they are busy and told me to call again later. Told it to client and ask me to call Kohl's AGAIN whenever I'm at after I left. Told her I'm going to work and can't use phone unless it's emergency. She got a little upset with it and asked where I'm working, I'm working too hard, etc. Got the check with me Ended up leaving 1:20 pm.

June 12 (Wednesday) = Dropped by at Kohl's to pick up client's hat she said she called the store for Monday night to be set aside. Got there @ 9 am, store had just opened. Went up to the Customer Service, Asian guy employee there says no items set aside in client's name, maybe they are holding it in the jewelry dept. Went up to the jewelry dept. and lady there was talking to a customer maybe. Called client and told her item no longer in the Customer Service holding area. Told me about her call to the store and her talking to a lady employee in the jewelry and being told she (employee) was going to hold it for her. Talked to the lady on the jewelry dept., she looked for it but no item on hold and says they only hold item for a day. But showed me which area I could find the hats. Found the hats and called client, told her they no longer holding the hat and I found the area, and told her the price. Ended up getting it. Register didn't accepted the check, and I paid for it first. Spent $15.12 with my card @ Kohl's. Then went next to Walmart and got blueberry muffins, got Calcium, and looked for lamb chops but none. Spent $6.76 with my card. Arrived to client around 9:40 'sh, backdoor still closed. Client still sleeping. Brought dog outside, client had coffee and 1 muffin and had taken her am med. too. Turned on heater as she was cold and turned on tv 10 am. Showed her the hat and says that was it :) Also told her I paid for it since store won't accept her check. Tidied up kitchen area and made tuna sandwich, put it on fridge for client's meal. Client asked for some more coffee. Made the beef liver, fried for lunch. Client watching tv and brought in lunch @ about 12 noon, she had beef liver for lunch, steamed mic vegetables, watermelon and water for drink. Says beef liver wasn't great and retold how to make and mentioned about salt. Told her I didn't put salt in it. Also brought Calcium vit. and client took it. Put up coat back to closet, with the two hats on top as client requested, had given her another blanket too. :) Also she had a small piece of chocolate fudge from Food 4 Less. She likes it. :) Mentioned again the tv ad or something about losing weight and says she is going to do it. Left 1:11 pm or so.

June 13 (Thursday) = OFF!

June 14 (Friday) = Back door was still closed. Client still asleep but had woken her up. Told me about her son's family coming today as her granddaughter told her last night. Brought dog outside. Kitchen area cleaned. Emptied commode and washed it outside. Client had coffee and gave her am med. Tidied up room and changed soiled rug. Shampooed carpet. Phone call from her granddaughter @ 11:05 ' sh am, letting us know they'd be there in about an hour or an hour and 20 - 30 mins. Got lunch @ Subway, oven roasted chicken, footlong and Sun Chips. Spent $6.40 with my card. Lunch before noon, awakened client for it, roasted chicken sandwich for lunch, some chips, Diet Coke. Son and family arrived @ 12:20 pm. Client had just had her lunch and learned about the news of her husband's passing. Client asked me if I have to go to work for the night, she doesn't think she'd be able to spend the night alone and asked me if I could stay and I said yeah, it's alright with me. The family left before or about 2 pm and headed to Coronado. Change bedsheets after the family left. Did laundry. Went to KFC in Lemon Grove and got a bucket of chicken, 8 pieces for $12.99, spent $15.10 then called client and told her what I got, and asked me too to go to Anna's Linen's, then dropped by next to Vons, and got there almost 6 pm. For cheesecake small serving for $3.99, Greek salad, and .49 cents dog food. Tried to call client about the Greek salad but no answer. Spent $11.60 with my card. Called her again when I'm on my way but no answer. Dropped by to Rite-Aid and got myself toothbrush and toothpaste and water. Got back to client and dog outside, while she was in the bedroom and told me about the soda pop spill in the kitchen. Prepared dinner about 7:20 pm. Client walked into the kitchen about 7:40 ' sh pm and we talked while I'm preparing dinner. Had dinner almost 8 pm, client had 2 pieces chicken, Greek salad, steamed brusells and a cup of coffee. Had small slice of cheesecake for dessert. She loves it :) Done dinner @ past 9 pm.Gave her Calcium vit. but continued chit-chatting. Decided to go to her room before 10 pm, but dealing with arthritis pain and decided to sit down on the bed on the vacant room. Put some pain cream on client's back, on the neck, shoulder and on the legs and watching tv. Got a call from her granddaughter on my phone and letting us know they got home already :) Client on the bedroom 11 pm or a little past 11 pm. I prepared for the night. Client called me just before 11:30, telling me about 2 channels to watch, says its a good one. Asked her if she wanted tv on in her room as maybe she wanted to see it. Turned on tv and watched with her for 30 minutes or so. Tv off @ 11:45 pm. Said our goodnights. Then minutes later heard her saying she's cold. Turned on heater, 78. I can still hear client talking to the dog, or to herself, about 12 am, 1 am. I hadn't sleep, would fall sleep and wake up, heater is on and I could really smell the carpet. Probably sleep about 2 am or so.

June 15 (Saturday) = Awakened by my dad's call @ 7:20 ' sh am, checking if I'm ok. Client already up, but she said she's careful not to wake me up. Made coffee almost 8:30 am, and client had coffee and took her am med. as well. Heard her calling Ralphs. Then told me about it for breakfast, and hot dog, foot long hotdog but says it's  not necessary, only if I want it. And I said I'm not used to having breakfast so it's ok. :) Watered lawn, front and the back too. Client wanted "Yard sale" for husband's clothes. Showed her some clothes and she thought of the price and I put some price tag on each shirts. Helped her call her son's number and she had spoke to him on the phone. Put some clothes by the side, on the driveway before 11 am. Radio on on the sala. Client walked into the kitchen and I was preparing lunch. We had lunch together, client had 2 chicken pieces, the sweet corn, Greek salad. Had rest of the cheesecake for dessert.  Prepared her the steamed mix vege. and pasta. Asked me if maybe I could stay an hour later and come an hour later on Monday as maybe someone will come by and buy some clothes. So I said ok. Gave her Calcium vit. Picked up some oranges. Then brought clothes back inside. Tidied up anything needed to be tidied up. Walked client into her bedroom as she said she hadn't sleep throughout the night and wants to take a nap. Wanted to call Alvarado hospital and asked for arthritis pain, as again with the pain when she stands up and she sat too long in the chair. Walked her into her room and called Alvarado. As we expected she need to be seen so they can tell her what's wrong and prescribe her medicine for arthritis. Took 1 Tylenol @ 2:27 pm. Rubbed cream at in the shoulder, and in her back and both legs. Lied down and helped her on her 3 blankets. Brought dog back inside. Reminded her I'd come 10 on Monday and she said later than that. Told her I would do it Mon. and Tue. That I'd come 10 am Monday and the rest on Tues. Left 2:45 pm.

June 16 (Sunday) = OFF!
