April 29 (Monday) = Dropped by to Kmart, got there 9:30 am. (Granddaughter called last night, told me about brownies from Vons :)) And also that client wanted me to give her a call as she wanted me to get her something on my way today. So, got to Kmart and looked at the on sale, 60% OFF gemstones. Tried to call client a couple of times, but phone's busy. Waited for maybe 15 mins. and tried again, got her on the phone, says she was trying to call the store to get hold of me as she knows it's me who's called the first time. Told client teh total prices of the gemstones and that it is on sale for 60% OFF, says no, she doesn't know it was like that. Also she had changed her mind about planning for me drop by to Vons to and get brownies, and cookie dough. Instead decided to 99 Cents and gave me a few items to get. Wanted me to call her when I got to the store. Left Kmart and went to 99 Cents store, got the items client wanted me to get and gave her a call. She added a few more items, got it and spent $10.59 with my card. Got to client place past 10 am, dog outside, brought him in, and client awake. Asked client for tea or coffee but says no. Cleaned kitchen area, dried clothes, emptied trash and wash bin (ants.) Soaked soiled towel from clients room (used it as rug,) and changed rugs in her room. Client talking (while watching tv,) about shoes on Grossmont shopping center, and about the talk with her son about the car and the fence, etc. that used screwdriver to remove the fence (something like that.) Client had fallen asleep. Emptied commode and cleaned outside. Prepared lunch past 11 am. Woke up client for lunch, had bologna sandwich, spinach, and Diet Pepsi for drink. Also baked cookies. Client had fallen asleep after lunch, woke her up when I'm about to go. Took her Calcium vit. and blood pressure med. then wrote a check for the office and asked me to call her bank instead of her making the call, says she doesn't want to call the bank. So I called the bank and talked to a male employee, I believed it was the same guy I had spoken to last time client asked me to make the call as it is a quick one, just said, ok, he will work on it and that's it. Left almost 1:20 pm.
April 30 (Tuesday) = Got in earlier, backdoor still locked. Client awake, doesn't want tea or coffee, says in more pain with the arthritis, (note: she had just finished 2 Diet Pepsi bottles for about 3 days.) Went to Rite-Aid, client wrote check for it and also brought back the "Beach umbrella" base again as she wanted to try and return it again. Also had changed the battery of the kitchen's wall clock. Got to Rite-Aid by 10:30 am, the manager was the cashier who helped me, and accepted back the base. Gave me a gift card for $21.59. Got Tylenol (24 capsules,) ice cream, and two 6 ft. beach umbrellas, called client about the ice cream and the dog food and the Nivea lotion about the price and she decided not to get those, also says needs more pain cream but wanted to wait on that as she says it is too much $, the cream being $5+, the lowest brand and wanted the cream instead from 99 Cents store so I told her I could get that tomorrow from 99 Cents along with the dog snack. Got back 11 am, client sleeping, didn't woke up client. Prepared pasta for client's dinner and made lunch. Woke up client for lunch, had bologna sandwich, salad, and water fro drink. Fall asleep after lunch. Woke her up by 1 pm and asked if she wanted to take Tylenol, says yes and took 1 Tylenol. Told her I left her blood pressure med. and Calcium vit. in the kitchen table for later. Then told me about the umbrellas I got and that she wanted it to be exchange with the blue and pink color but wanted the one on the Rite-Aid ad, the 7 ft. and asked me to call Rite-Aid "later" when I'm home and ask them to set aside 1 pink and blue for her. I decided to give Rite-Aid call then and asked for the price of the 7 ft. beach umbrellas and was told it is originally $29.99. Told client about it and learning the price of the 7 ft. size umbrellas, she decided to just exchange with the same size. So called Rite-Aid again for set aside and employee says they have a lot of it so I could just go tomorrow and get one. Asked client for what she wants me to get to 99 Cents Store. tomorrow. Ended up leaving 1:17 pm.
May 01 (Wednesday) = (Client's birthday.) Dropped by to 99 Cents on my way, got there 5 mins. before 9. Got items client had told me yesterday then called her after. A few items was added when I called her and decided on glazed chicken wings from Food 4 Less. Paid and spent $11.02 with my card. Called back client's son when I got to the parking lot. Had told me they were planning on coming on Saturday and had asked if everything's ok and buying cake for client as it is her birthday, and the bills. Told him I was in 99 Cents and would be next to Food 4 Less, and that client wants me to get her favorite slice of cake :) Got to Food 4 Less, got the chicken wings and looked at the cakes in the bakery then called client about the price of the whole cake, told her I got the one she loves, the slices and told me to get 1. (I decided to get two, a treat for her birthday.) Also had added soda pop and macaroni salad, which I got and 1 paper towel. Paid and spent $15.85 with my card. Got to client 10 am, dog outside, client awake. Says I took long and wonders why sometimes I got back quickly, so told her I already in 99 Cents store before 9 am, and her son's call and what I got from Food 4 Less. Stocked the items, and made client tea. Tidied up kitchen. Then told her I'm gonna go to Rite-Aid to exchange the yellow umbrella to the one she likes better, the blue and pink one. Also wanted me to look at Whopper or candies for her granddaughter. Got to store and got pink and blue umbrella, the last one of its kind in the aisle. Then looked at the Whopper and it wasn't on sale, tried to call client couple of times but phone was busy. So I went and did the exchange, Helaine was the cashier and just "exchanged" the umbrella's since it was the same kind, no scanning done. Got back and watered lawn in front and back and washed rugs, client watching tv. Prepared clients lunch by past 11:35 am. Had lunch by 12 pm, had 3 pieces of chicken (glazed chicken wings) and macaroni salad, steamed spinach and Diet Coke for drink. Called me minutes later says chicken doesn't turn out to be that good, told her it's probably overcooked (She told me to do it 8 minutes, 4 minutes twice) and I only did it 6 minutes but came out darker. Client was thinking of calling Food 4 Less. Prepared her sauteed vegetables (brusells, zucchini, onion and put some A1 and wostershire sauce.) Client asked for another piece of chicken, I told her I will try it in 5 minutes this time. Looks better but still client says it wasn't as good as before and still planning of telling Food 4 Less. Gave her a slice of dessert (chocolate cake) later. Took her blood pressure and Calcium by 1 pm and then, wants me to check her clothes and look for a coat she thinks was missing! But I found it, a black coat and she was relieved to find it there. :) Then she talks about her favorite shows guess, and stuffs, then trying to call Food 4 Less, but hadn't reach them with the number she wrote in her writing pad, but still wanted to let them know. Told her it was probably the minutes of cooking it, so suggested her to maybe she will try it tomorrow and maybe its better. Says she will listen to me :) Was already 1:40 pm when I finally got to leave.
May 02 (Thursday) = OFF!
May 03 (Friday) = Arrived, and dog outside on leased, came in with me and client awake. Asked me again what her son had told me when we talked on the phone last Wednesday, told her again what I told her before, then she asked me if her son had told her about her birthday, and so I said her son had mentioned it to me. Says she's mad at him for it. Told me about Vons Friday special, pineapple and peach white cake (?, something like that.) Made client tea. Also I have overheard her talking about her going out or not being home tomorrow as she doesn't want them to come. Cleaned kitchen, watered lawn at the back, changed rug towels and soaked. Client had fallen asleep and I washed some rugs outside. Cleaned restrooms, microwave, toasters. Changed bedsheet on vacant room and had shampooed carpet there. Emptied commode. Client woke up past 11 am, told me last 3 glazed chicken wings are for my lunch, and I told her we still have the bologna if she wants sandwich for lunch. Thank her and went on preparing her lunch. Client had bologna sandwich, Classic Romaine salad and water for drink about 11:45 'sh am. Then I went outside to do more rug washing so I can dry it, (too hot today.) I already had lunch, brought rice and paksiw with me but I took 1 glazed chicken so I can answer client when she asked me about it, and she would noticed the chicken if I didn't touched one and will feel bad about me not eating it. Still, there's 2 I left in there :) Client fall asleep again after lunch. Cleaned microwave, fridge, and toaster. Polished top of wood cabinet on client's room, tv on and client woke up, asked me to look for some items that fell behind her side table. Gave her calcium vit. and blood pressure med. Client thinking about going to Vons tomorrow and getting the cake. Left already 1:15 pm.
May 04 (Saturday) = Dog outside, client awake. Made her tea and she have it while I am changing her bedsheets. Went on changing the rest of the rugs and swept bedroom area. Tidied up kitchen, shampooed vacant room carpet again. Picked up roses for vases for kitchen and her bathroom as client wanted to. Client was thinking if we should have BK for lunch, (ads and coupon on the kitchen table) or go to Akins. I told here I could go to BK since its close to Vons and she had signed a check for Vons since she wanted me to get brownies and the cake from Friday's special and M & M's from Rite-Aid. Left about 10:45 'sh am and went to Vons first. Got a call from her granddaughter on my way about them coming so I told her about telling her dad of client's ceiling. Got Diet Coke, 3 packs of dog food since its on sale for 49 cents each then went to bakery and looked for the cake special yesterday. Was already now about $13, called client about it. Asked staff and says it sells now on the regular price. Called client back and so just decided on the brownies. Found the petite ones and got one. Paid with clients check. Then next to Burger King and got her the Whopper Jr. combo: with small fries and drink. Spent $4.31 with my card. Then dropped by next to Rite-Aid and looked for the M & M's she wanted. Called client and told her about the price, more than $3 each and she decided to skipped on it since she had the brownies. But then decided on getting one more soda pop, so got one more Diet Coke for 99 cents. Paid with client checks. Had her lunch before 12 noon on the vacant room as she walks in there when I was just preparing lunch as she wanted to tell me to take my time and eat and not hurry up :) Client had the Whopper combo lunch. Walks back on her bedroom while she was almost done. Fall asleep after lunch. Wake client up past 12:30 pm for shower. Tried to give dog shower too but doesn't want it as he put a tagging fight with the lease so client decided not to. Gave client vit. and blood pressure med. and she looked at the brownies. Says it wasn't the one her granddaughter told her and she wanted me to call Vons bakery and asked if they have the rectangular ones, called bakery and they did. (Also got a call on the client's phone from her granddaughter, about them coming about 5:30 pm or so since they're planning on going first to client's husband. So I left to return the petite, round ones I got and took 2 of the brownies client preferred. I paid the difference of $4.98 with my card for Vons. Got back with client sleeping but then woke up when she thought I was back. Tided up her bedroom area and shampooed it. Client walked back to her bedroom and sat down by the edge. It was almost 3 pm when she was thinking of dressing up and wanted me to look on her closet for the one she was thinking of wearing, says a blue one. I was unable to find it and she insisted it was there, but says ok if I can't find it. I took some of the clothes out and she says "that was it," the one I was holding :) A lavender and green colored robe. Put it on her bed and then she started chit-chatting. I ended up leaving 3:30 pm.

April 22 - April 28
April 22 (Monday) = Dog outside on leased, brought back inside and client awake. Doesn't want either tea or coffee, says up early at 5 am and had tea. Wants Osteo Biflex to be return to Rite-Aid as it wasn't working and made it worst with the pain. Had chit-chat, telling me stories, the news, etc. Fall asleep. Had French toast about 10:15 am, and was talking about the $4 sandwich on Subway with a drink on commercial. Told her it was the same deal we had talked about last Saturday, and told her the selection of sandwiches for it, and she doesn't like the choices of sandwiches that comes with it. Told her they still have the $3 sandwich, the oven roasted chicken. Left about 11 am, went to Rite-Aid first and returned the Osteo Biflex, Jordan was the cashier, got $21.05 for refund. Got 99 cents Diet Coke and paid cash $1, from the refund. The price was $1.02 but cashier says don't mind the .2 cents. :) Then went next to Subway and got the 6" oven roasted chicken for $3, plus tax. Client wasn't hungry as she had the toast almost 10:30 am. She was watching tv. Asked me to call bank past 12 pm, for the amount needed in her checking for the agency, asked me to call instead as she doesn't wanna make the call to "C." She wrote the check ,then I called the bank and talked to a guy, but wasn't "C," told him I'm calling for Mrs. "W" and she needs $350 in her checking account and says "ok," he will take care of it. Client was talking about Chula Vista, about a news, incident in there and doesn't want me to go in there, so told her I'm going to drop the mail/check instead on the post office. Left her other blood pressure med. and vit. on the table for her to take later. Gave me $16 and some coins, the rest of the refund from Rite-Aid, for tomorrow's use on Food 4 Less. Left 1:15 pm.
April 23 (Tuesday) = Dropped by to Food 4 Less. Done by 9:10 am on the list. Called client. Added few more items and decided on bigger beef liver. Use the $16.75 she gave me to pay most of the total amount and paid the remaining $4.62 with my card. On my way at 9:30 am to client's home. Dog outside, client awake. Says up early. Had tea and a pancake past 10 am.Took her morning blood pressure med. Chit-chat and then falls asleep. Cleaned kitchen, dishes, wiped floor, laundry, and emptied commode. Cooked beef liver before 11:30 am for client's dinner. baked some cookies and fried bacon. Client had lunch about 12 pm, woke her up for it: bacon sandwich, steamed spinach, 2 cookies and water for drink. Changed bedsheets at about 12:45 pm, as there's ants in there, meanwhile, client watches tv while I change sheets. Had her other blood pressure med. and vit. a little past 1 pm. Chit-chat again and already 1:20 pm when I left.
NOTE: Received COX bill on the mailbox and asked client if I could open it, just to see the due date. Due date, May 9.
April 24 (Wednesday) = Client awake. Decided on Subway for lunch, telling me about the $4 deal, again. So asked client which of the sandwiches on the selection does she likes. Picked "cold cut combo," but doesn't want the ham in there, but asking if "they" could substitute it instead of other meat or add more of the other items. And wanted me to stop by on Rite-Aid to check on the spray perfumes, looking for Japanese-made perfumes such as the cherry blossom. Went to Subway first, asked the employee if she can skip the ham and just put more of the ingredients (either salami or bologna,) but she doesn't understand me and asked my order again, so I repeated cold cut combo, asking to skip the ham. Still got her confused so I asked instead "what goes on cold cut combo?" and she went and asked a co-worker, which she was told " ham, salami, and bologna." So I asked again to skip the ham and she went and asked the same co-worker if she could do it, says don't, the ham is turkey-based. So I said I'm going to make a call first. :) Called client and told her and decided on oven roasted chicken, and got the chips too. Spent $5.59 with my card. Told me about Rite-Aid spray perfumes. Dropped by next to Rite-Aid and smelled and tested the spray perfumes then called client, told her the choices that's in there and the prices. Says skipped it for now. Client had the oven roasted chicken for lunch and later the blood pressure med. and the Calcium. Left about 1:15 'sh or so. Asked client for list of items she wanted me to get in 99 Cents Store on Friday and asked me to call her for it. So told her I'm going to call on Friday morning.
NOTE: Had baked her some more cookies, made more of the fried liver and made tuna sandwich for meals.
April 25 (Thursday) = OFF
April 26 (Saturday) = Called client 8:20 am, before I head my way and asked her the items she wanted from 99 Cents Store. Got there 9 am and got the items on the list and added few more like the olives, salad, and paper towel. Then called client and she added more items. Got all the items except the Cracker Jack. Used my card and had spent $29.63. Past 9:30 am when I got done. Dog was outside and client awake. Client had tea. Had fallen asleep past 10 am. Washed dishes, cleaned kitchen, continued drying and laundry and stocked groceries. Emptied commode. Washed some rugs outside before or 11 am. Prepared some of the pasta for clients dinner and was making sandwich when she woke up and asked for Cheetos Puffs. Client had lunch by 11:45 'sh am and loved it :) Fall asleep again and was awake before 12:30 pm, asking for more soda pop (Diet Pepsi.) Gave her blood pressure med. and vit. and was telling about her sore toes (big toes.) Put Peroxide in it and bandaged. Client went back to sleep, woke her up past 1 pm to let her know I'm going. :)
April 27 (Saturday) = Backdoor still locked. Dog waiting in the kitchen to go outside. :) Put dog outside and went to client's room, client in bed, probably already awake. Made her tea and had her morning blood pressure med. a little bit after the tea. Asked if we still have beef liver, and I said yes, but out of egg. So she said we have to get egg, and decided on Smart & Final since it was closer than Ralphs. Was saying she has a few change but probably not going to be enough and since it was just the egg and potatoes, and she wants salad too. I asked her if she wants me to pay for it first, and says, "if you would, please," :) and says she wanna stop asking me to pay for groceries and lunches. By 10 am, told client I rather go now on Smart & Final, and says ok. Got the brown eggs, a dozen and salad, and bag of potatoes. Spent $7.27 with my card. Got back by 10:30 am, client was surprised it took that quick :) Prepared baked potatoes, and started on the beef liver, frying it uncut as client wanted, also made bologna sandwich and prepared beef bacon sandwich by 11:35 am. Client fall asleep watching tv and woke her up for lunch by 12 pm. Had bacon sandwich, and the salad and Diet Pepsi for drink. Likes it :) and the bread too. Gave her vit. and other blood pressure med. 1 pm. Then she wanted me to go to the garage and checked on the car as watching something on tv, about a car reminded her of their car on the garage. And wanted me again to try it and back it up from the garage. (She has this thought a few times before too but I hadn't done it.) Went outside and tried to open the garage door on the side and I can't. Went back inside and told client and she got worried and called her husband asking for key, and I, looking for key on where she told me to look, thou I told her I had a key, the one I'm using in the backdoor and I had used it to open the garage side door before. She passed the phone to me and her husband told me the garage door opener is by the side of the door. I went back outside and tried the key again, and this time it worked, and I had opened the garage too. Went back inside and told client, but then also told her I'm not familiar with their car and I don't think I could start it and back up. Says its ok and called her husband again, as she thins he's going to worry too, and let me talked to his husband after dialing it. Told her husband I got it opened, asked me what's triggered her wife (client) to think about the garage and I had said "the car." :D Turns out client doesn't want her husband to know it :D But then, too late. her husband had heard when I said car, but I told him client just wanted to make sure car was ok. Left about 1:35 pm, client asked me how much time I had spent/stayed late and I said 30 minutes, so told me I could come 9:30 am on Monday and apologizes for making me stay late.

April 15 - April 21
April 15 (Monday) = Gloomy day, a little bit rain and drizzles. Door still locked. Heard dog barked from either the hallway or client's room when I came in. Client awake, put dog outside. Client talked to me about patio umbrella's, fixing them as they are torn. Made coffee. Client had coffee and took morning blood pressure med. Called DZ Akin's a little past 9:30 am to put order: sliced Hallah bread, 1/2 lb. corned beef, and 1 cheese pocket. Then client tried to call Akin's to ask about cole slaw, wanted me to taste a little cole slaw and buy it if it's good. I called Akin's and asked for their cole slaw price, says $3.68 (or something, but it was over $3/lb.) Told client and told her if she wants cole slaw I could get it from Vons. Left past 10 am to pick up Akin's order, told them I'll pick it up at 10:15 am. Got there maybe about 10:20 am or so and picked up order, spent $13.33 on DZ Akins with my card. Dropped by to Ralph's on my way and got cole slaw for $$2.99. While on the parking lot, I thought about the dog maybe not having food for today, so called client and asked. Got back inside Ralph's and got Ceasar's dog food for .99 cents each and Pet Pride for .79 cents each. Spent $3.43 with my card. Dried clothes. Swept client's bedroom and wiped kitchen floor. Perpared lunch. Client had corned beef sandwich for lunch, cole slaw, olives, and water for drink. Baked Toll House cookies, made 4 cookies. Client had fallen asleep after lunch. Gave her Osteo Bio Flex, cut in halves and told her calcium vit. and other blood pressure med. is on the kitchen table for later. Looked and started fixing patio umbrella's but it started drizzling, so I went back inside and its past 10 mins. to 1 pm anyway. Got back outside and folded umbrella's as client wanted. Wrote check for agency but doesn't want to call her bank, says they should know by now and they will take care of it. Then thought of writing letter to Ericka. I ended up leaving past 1:20 pm.
April 16 (Tuesday) = Cold, wind day day. Door still locked. Client awake. Put dog outside. Client had tea. Wanted to call ad on the newspaper page about shutters and blinds as she wants to install one in the restroom. But then she worries on where the money is coming from for it. Also told me about her granddaughter's call about her husband needing a lot of things and her granddaughter having the idea of maybe that I can drive to Coronado to her husband. Also had remembered an ad for painting, I looked for it in the kitchen but no longer there, it must have been on the trash. Client had fallen asleep after tea and talking with me. Fixed meals for lunch and dinner then shampooed vacant room's carpet. Emptied commode. She took her Osteo Bio Flex tablet in halves at 12:30 pm. Woke up client for lunch, and had past (macaroni, pieces of corned beef and diced zucchini,) steamed spinach and water for drink. Soaked soiled towels. Went outside to fix patio umbrellas but only had fixed one. Left 1:20 pm.
April 17 (Wednesday) = Door still locked. Client awake. Put dog outside and made coffee. Client thought of Popeye's for lunch and had asked me to call them. She had coffee and watched tv. Cleaned kitchen and washed the dishes. Client had her morning blood pressure med. Watered plants in the front porch. Made sweet potato then called Popeye's and asked for any special for the day, Mexican male employee told me about of $2.99 leg and thigh with biscuit and asked client what's her meal gonna be tomorrow as it's Thursday. Says soup, so I said I could get that from Vons. Left about 10:36 'sh am. Spent $3.23 on Popeyes chicken and $4.27 on Vons, got 2 cans of soup, 1 tuna and dog food. Client sleeping when I got back so I didn't wake her up but prepared tuna sandwich for tomorrow. Client had lunch before 12 pm, had the Popeyes chicken with biscuit and water for drink. Told me after chicken is still raw and she doesn't like the biscuit, (made facial expression on how it taste.) Thought about calling Popeyes and asked me if she would or just let it go. Shower (first shower after the shower was fixed.). Had her vit. and other blood pressure medicine past 1 pm. Watching tv on the vacant room, watching the shopping channel. Got oranges. Left 1:42 pm.

April 19 (Friday) = Beautiful day. Dog outside on leased, which went inside with me when I arrived. Client awake, lying in bed. Asked for the tv to be turned on. Had tea and asked for a silk, black pants to be look on her cabinet and I found it. Client continued watching tv, the news about Boston bombing. Washed towels used yesterday with the shower. cleaned kitchen. Then fall asleep. Emptied commode. Client was awakened by the dog, licking her face, she was happy about it and wanted me to know, but addressed me first as Carrie, twice, her former Filipina caregiver, then called me on my name :) Told me about her calling Vons asking for tv dinners and the nice guy answered phone and told her about on sale tv dinners for $2.+ something. Asked her what she's gonna have for lunch and told me again about the tv dinner call, but then was thinking about having Chinese Food, and told her the dog doesn't gonna have anything for lunch. Client wrote check for Vons, for dog food, dessert, pancake syrup, Cracker Jack. Left before 11 am, went to Vons and got all the items, also got 1 can of tomato soup, and 2 potatoes. Paid using client's check. Then went next to Great Wall Express for Chinese Food, used my card and spent $5.93, got chicken, beans and lo mein with m. Diet Coke. Client sleeping when I came back so I went on preparing lunch. Feed dog first so dog won't bother client on her lunch. Woke up client for lunch about 11:47 'sh am. Then falls asleep after lunch. Woke her up for vit. and other blood pressure med. Left almost 1:20 pm.
April 20 (Saturday) = Dog outside on leased. Client awake. Doesn't want coffee or tea, says she's up 2:30 am to look for roaches around. Spent some time chit-chatting. Then had 2 waffles about or around 10 am and fall asleep. Woke her up to asked her what she wants for lunch, told me she wasn't hungry but told me about Subway's $4, choice of sandwich and a drink, and asked me to call. No answer from Subway and I found the ad on the kitchen. Told client that I'm gonna go to Burger King instead and told her the choices of sandwiches from Subway. Also asked me to get cream from Rite-Aid. Left about 11 am and went to Burger King . Got 2 Whoppers, with a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free. Spent $4.31 with my card. Then went next to Rite-Aid and got Rite-Aid brand pain cream ultra strength and 6" bubble mailer. Spent $6.49 with my card. Client using the mini vacuum on her bedroom, brought in the Whopper but says she wasn't hungry yet and told me to have lunch instead, and she continued vacuuming, while I brought Whopper back to kitchen. Swept carpet on her bedroom and changed rug, also took out the 2 tiles. Brought back the warmed up Whopper for her by 12:30 pm and water for drink. Enjoyed her lunch :) Also baked 5 cookies and had it done before 1 pm. Took her vit. and other blood pressure med. Also had made her baked potatoes, steamed spinach and fried ___. Mentioned her owing me time, asked me how much and I said 2 and 1/2 hours. Asked her when she wants me to make up for it and told me I could make up whenever I want to as I might need to go earlier or come later one day, then I could use it. Client chit-chatted and I got to leave past 1:30 pm.

April 08 (Monday) = Dog outside when, and client awake. Also a windy day and a drizzling a bit on my way. Client didn't want tea or coffee, says she's up early and already had tea. Says she defrosted the corned beef, and want it cooked on the oven. Meat set on the oven 9:30 am, washed dishes, cleaned kitchen, emptied kitchen trash, shampooed carpet on the vacant room and hallway while client had fallen asleep. Emptied commode, cleaned toilet on the hallway, fixed rugs ans swept client's room, and she was awake from a dream, talking while sleeping, asked me a question and I answered "I don't have a husband" ^-^' And that woke her up. Lol. I didn't know she was talking to her sleep.Warmed up bacon sandwich I had made for her last Saturday, since she didn't touched it, so she had it for lunch since meat wasn't cooked yet. Then asparagus and water for drink. Put hydrogen peroxide and bandaged her 2 big toes. Was telling that now she has the other big toe hurting. Took her other blood pressure med. and vit. She made a check for the office, called the bank and had talked to Carlos as he answered the phone. I left already 1:20 pm. turned off oven and told her I will set the meat on the kitchen table, and she then can put it on the fridge later. :)
April 09 (Tuesday) = Received a call from the plumber while getting ready to go to work. Plumber was already there when I arrived, he's looking on the front porch's leak. Dog outside, told client about the plumber. Doesn't want coffee or tea, says she already had tea. Tidied up kitchen. Had chit-chatted with client, told me about her son's call, med on commercial that's for arthritis pain and wants to try it. Continued cooking beef brisket on oven @ 9:30 am, about 360o and later put to 370. Plumber shut off water then had asked me to turn on kitchen faucet, I did, just the cold water. Plumber left to go to store to get some things he needs for fixing before 11 am and client decided to wait for him to get back before sending me to Rite-Aid. Had asked me to call Rite-Aid for Osteo Flex price, and reviews about it. Employee named Jordan got the phone, and told me Osteo Flex is currently "buy 1 get 1 free." Then got a voice mail from client's son about the plumber and a bill needs to be paid for the amount of $343.05 for property tax due tomorrow. Calld client's son back and let him know plumber left for store and that I'd try to ask client to pay the bill.Client wasn't happy about it and doesn't wanna write the check to pay the amount, she tried to call her husband but no answer, and his son too, and she left voice mail for him. I went to Rite-Aid when plumber got back. Got 2 Osteo Bio Flex (got 1 free,) Diet Coke, lipstick (Wet and Wild brand as NYC doesn't have the color she asked me to get,) and face foam (?) Called her about the ice cream and let her know the price, says ok and wants vanilla flavor. Also got Snickers, and small potato chips for . 99 cents. Paid with client's check. Plumber says he had cut himself and he's going, when I came back. Says he had removed the old valve and new valve was ready to be put in but he had cut himself. Called client's son and let him know about it, and that water is shut off, and that plumber says another guy is going to be needed in there to finish the work. Made lunch. Client had half of the beef brisket sandwich, and potato chips, and Diet Coke for drink. Client's son called me back and let me know another plumber is coming to do the work, which came few minutes after the call, before 1 pm. And called him back to let him know the 2nd plumber had arrived. And I passed my phone on the plumber so client's so client's son can talk to him. Then later, plumber left to go to the store too, like the first one to get items he needed. And he came back 2:40 'sh pm.Says the work outside will take about 35 minutes to finish and shower would be an hour, when I asked him.Already 3:30 pm, called client's son about it, and told him I'm going and there's bottled water ready for client on the table. Told plumber I'm leaving and says he's about done too and going. Says will only took him 2 mins. to work the shower, or tighten it up. Water's back on, asked plumber about bill and says office will send it, and he's done. Told client about it, and called his son. Left a little past 3:30 pm.
April 10 (Wednesday) = Dog outside, with roaches sticky pad under the bed got into dogs, right back leg, together with the potato chip, client awake. Says thought I'd call her last night or yesterday. Didn't want tea or coffee, says she's up early and already had some tea. Cleaned/tidied up kitchen area. when I arrived, him outside on leased.Client had taken 1 Osteo Flex tablet and wasn't happy about the size of it. Says too big to be swallowed. Had steak for lunch, and half of the baked potato, some asparagus and water for drink. Had fallen asleep after lunch. Changed bed sheets and did laundry. Client decided to wait for shower as it was already later, asked me for time and learned it was 112:35 pm. Had her other blood pressure med. and vit. Then some guy knocked on the door, was about to shut off water, he's from Water Services, told him about the $95.99 on the shut off noticed he handed me, but he's still planning on shutting it off, so I called client's son and told him about it, they ended up talking on the phone as I passed my phone on the guy. Says he will call their office and call client's son back. Later water was off, and I called client's son about it. Then I stayed 'till 2:30 pm, waited to be updated on what was going on and made sure client had some drinks. Client's son let me know Water Services will send someone to turn water back on in about 2 hours.I left exactly 2:39 pm.
April 11 (Thursday) = OFF!
Called client about 8 pm at night to ask if there's some more she wanted to add in her list of items for 99 Cents Store tomorrow.
April 12 (Friday) = Dropped by to 99 Cents Store at 10 am. Had spent $19.20 with my card. Then called client on the parking lot before going on my way to ask if client wanted me now to drop by to Subway on my way as she mentioned last night about Subway for lunch. But says she's worried about me sandwich getting cold, she wants it fresh, and me burning the sandwich again :D And then says about the Toll House cookies on Vons. So told her I could just go back again later. Dog outside on leased, client awake. Cleaned kitchen, laundry, dried clothes. Client wrote check for Vons, for Toll House cookies, says she called Vons and it's 2 for $5, on sale. Left past 11:15 'sh am, went to Subway first, spent $3.24 with my card for 1 oven roasted chicken, 6" for $3. Then next to Vons, can't find Toll House cookies and found my lady friend :) she helped me find it, and she did :) Got 2 different kind of Toll House cookies as the one client prefers is only one left. Also got Diet Coke. Paid with client's check. Client had the oven roasted chicken for lunch, and Diet Coke for drink. Had taken her Osteo Bio Flex, cut in half for easier swallowing. And told her about the Calcium vit. and the other blood pressure med was left on the kitchen table for later. Cut the loose sticky pad on doggie's. :) Left already 1:30 pm.
P.S. Mailed Water and Waste Water Services bill. Dropped it on the USPS drop box.

Soaked and laundried bedsheets and continued drying the other thick blanket. Prepared half tuna sandwich with olives and sweet potato for either tonight or tomorrow's meal. Steamed some asparagus too. Client wrote check for Vons around 11:15 'sh am. Reminded her about her maybe not having enough balance in her checking as she also had wrote two checks for groceries the past few days without calling her bank. And she says she doesn't have to call, Carlos, or people in the bank will take care of it as she had been told. Left before 11:30 am for Vons to get walnut and pink salmon in can for pattee as client wants it for dinner. Called Vons on my phone and asked how much is the salmons in can and what aisle can I find it, says aisle 2 :) Got the pink salmon on sale, for about more than $3, and a small plastic of walnut for cookies. Paid with client's check. Then went next to Burger King to get original chicken sandwich, had a coupon for free 1. Also got value onion rings and it shows on my receipt but noticed got value fries instead when I got back to client's place. Spent $6.03 with my card. Client had lunch past 11:45 am, had chicken sandwich, fries, and water for drink. Prepared her pattee past 12:10 pm with the ingredients she had told me. Client had taken 1 Osteo Bio Flex, in halves past 1 pm, and told her about the vit and other blood pressure med. on the table for later. Had tasted the pattee and says taste like potato pancake. Had made three pattee's and put it on fridge with the steamed asparagus, and baked potato. Put other half of the salmon in can on fridge as I only used half of it. Left already 1:35 pm.

Reminded her about her maybe not having enough balance in her checking as she also had wrote two checks for groceries the past few days without calling her bank. And she says she doesn't have to call, Carlos, or people in the bank will take care of it as she had been told. Left before 11:30 am for Vons to get walnut and pink salmon in can for pattee as client wants it for dinner. Called Vons on my phone and asked how much is the salmons in can and what aisle can I find it, says aisle 2 :) Got the pink salmon on sale, for about more than $3, and a small plastic of walnut for cookies. Paid with client's check. Then went next to Burger King to get original chicken sandwich, had a coupon for free 1. Also got value onion rings and it shows on my receipt but noticed got value fries instead when I got back to client's place. Spent $6.03 with my card. Client had lunch past 11:45 am, had chicken sandwich, fries, and water for drink. Prepared her pattee past 12:10 pm with the ingredients she had told me. Client had taken 1 Osteo Bio Flex, in halves past 1 pm, and told her about the vit and other blood pressure med. on the table for later. Had tasted the pattee and says taste like potato pancake. Had made three pattee's and put it on fridge with the steamed asparagus, and baked potato. Put other half of the salmon in can on fridge as I only used half of it. Left already 1:35 pm.

April 01 - April 07
April 01 (Monday) = Dropped by to 99 Cents store, got there before 9 am, called client while on the parking lot for items list. Got items: olives, dog foods, 3 sticky pads, mayonaise, 2 Cheetos Puffs, asparagus. Spent $ with my card. Got to client's place before 10 am, dog outside on leased, client awake in her room. Asked her for tea or coffee but says she already had tea as she was up early, only had sleep 7 am but got awakened by a call from woman she doesn't know who and what for is the call.Gave her morning blood pressure med. Cleaned kitchen and wiped floor kitchen. Decided Burger King chicken sandwich for lunch. Heard client called BK asking for special, and I was told about the call and she says there's no special. So I told her there's coupons for BK and Popeyes and we could use the coupon for BK. Also was told to go to Vons and get small dessert and her food for dinner, but was picky with tv dinners, she loves the steak so I told her I could check the steak and get one for her dinner. Left before 10:45 am, went to BK first since it was almost 11 am, got 2 orig. chicken sandwich with the coupon (buy 1 get 1 free.) Spent $ with my card. Then went next to Vons and got chocolate fudge for $2.99 and got 2 steak for almost $3 each. Spent $ with my card. Arrived about 11:15 am, started marinating steak. Prepared lunch. Client had lunch about 11:40 am, had chicken sandwich, sweet corn, and water for drink. Gave a small slice of the cake but says she's full, so I put dessert on fridge whenever she's ready for it :) Client fall asleep after lunch. Emptied commode. Had prepared steak for her dinner, sliced it with asparagus. Tried and cleaned shower thing with sand paper, but wasn't really cleaned. Gave client another blood pressure med. and vit. Asked me to call my works office and asked them if it's ok for her to sned the check for this week on Wed., as she was waiting for her check for the month. Also picked 4 oranges as she says :) Her favorite tv show at 1 pm is on, woke up client when I was ready to go. Left past 1:15 pm.
NOTE: On our way home from Seafood City, (me and dad) got a missed calls and voice mail for clients granddaughter and son, and office about dog getting tangled up outside. Was asked to go in there. Went there with my dad. :) Left about 6:30 am or something. Client just got in the kitchen. :)
April 02 (Tuesday) = Dog hasn't been out yet and client awake. Put dog outside on leased and went back to client's room, asked me how was the Chinese Food I got yesterday, as she wants to treat me and my dad for a Chinese food, a to go. I said ok, and thanked her but didn't went to get one, we just headed home. But told her I didn't went and get it. Still feels like she owes me dinner, but I told her it's ok :) Client had tea later and falls asleep. Cleaned kitchen, and shampooed carpet on vacant room, changed rug in her room and washed two rugs outside. Decided on Great Wall Express for Chinese food, went there before 11 am. Got fried rice, beef and broccoli, and orange chicken and med. Diet Coke. Spent $5+ with my card. Got back about 11:15 sh am. Client had lunch 11:45 am, fried rice, broccoli, beef, orange chicken and half of the Diet Coke. Clients son called me asking about if the shower had hold with the glue because I told him yesterday and on the email I sent with the shower photos that I am planning on gluing it back. Told him I had't glued it back yet but I had cleaned the dried glue with sand paper, told me he had called some plumbers but busy with construction work, he wants the leak in the front yard to be check and so is the shower. Gave client vit. and other blood pressure med. Left past 1:15 pm. Client watching her favorite tv show. :)
April 03 (Wednesday) = Called client morning before I went on my way and see if she wanted me to drop by to Food 4 Less, she had decided to skip it and get the bread on Akin's. So I just went straight to her place. Got there, dog hasn't been out yet, client awake, feeling cold and asked for the heater to be turned higher (also same story the last few days.) Put dog outside, on leased. Client doesn't want coffee nor tea, says she already had tea early morning. Tidied up kitchen area, and laundried soaked soiled clothes from yesterday. Placed order to Akin's, had talked to a lady employee, ordered sliced Hallah bread and a pickle. Told employee will be pick up about 10:30 am. Then client wants me to get beef bacon, and small dessert from bakery in Ralphs on my way back. Left almost 10:30 am, had waited for a few minutes on Akin's as Mexican guy employee who helped me was unable to find the ready order, I think he went and found the order copy (?) But then a lady handed me the order after or almost 10 minutes. Spent $4.+ with my card. Then went next to Ralphs and got the beef bacon, dog treat for $1.49 and looked for dessert and had called client about cupcakes price, and other one which is something like "3 cheese" for about $3.99, client says get it if I think it looks good. So I took some time on looking again and choosing as she wants something good but doesn't want to spend about $3, even $2 seems too much. So I decided to get the cheese something instead for .69 cents. Spent $ with my card. Got back past 11 am, and started on cooking beef bacon. Client had lunch almost 12 pm, had bacon sandwich, steamed asparagus and water for drink. Made her meals for dinner and for tomorrow's lunch. Made another bacon sandwich. Then baked potato and steamed squash. She still had canned soups, 1 tuna, and spaghetti canned on kitchen table ready. Gave her vit. and other blood pressure med. And handed her check with her as it arrived on the mailbox early (before 1 pm.) Gave her half of the dessert and she likes it, says good, but taste like somehow like raw. Also had spilled the cup of water on her side table, which really got wet. Client had wrote two checks, one for the office, $350 as she promised to pay Wednesday and the other check to pay me for all the expenses she owed me for groceries and lunches. Total she owed me was $280.09. And the hot dog bun she asked me to get on Vons, I didn't add it to money she owes me since she wanted me to get the bread for my lunch, and only .99 cents though :) Got paid $280 (didn't add the cents, to total since its only 9 cents.) :) Left already 1:26 pm, or something. Dropped the check for the office on USPS and went to client's bank. Guy employee"Julio" (?) took cared of the transaction. Told him about depositing the check, and the two check client wrote: one $350 and the other $280 and the deposited money wasn't enough so client says get the rest from her savings. And he took the deficient from the savings, gave me yellow receipt for it and the deposit receipt. Then Carlos arrived, and talked to me about client and explained a paper work he gave me, which needs client's signature. Says client was billed $30 for her account monthly, and that they will give her a senior account, which is free. Also explained the call client told me before, about client's using the wrong check, and showed me that if client's check account displays "this specific" number, throw it away, wrong checkbook. Then gave the the single paper which needs client's signature.
April 04 (Thursday) = OFF!
April 05 (Friday) = Subway for lunch, got $3, 6 inch oven roasted chicken and small Lays as client thought of just potato chips, she was thinking of small salad before to go with the sandwich. Paid for it and spent $4.24 with my card. Then dropped by to Rite-Aid, got Tylenol, Ultra strength Bengay cream, (red one,) Jelly Beans and paid with clients check. She had the oven roasted sandwich for lunch with asparagus and water for drink. After lunch, asked her if she took some Tylenol and says yes. So I told her I'm going to leave her other blood pressure med. and vit. on the kitchen table for her to take later, and she says ok. Gave her the Jelly Beans and she gave me some. Told her about the canned spaghetti on the kitchen table for dinner. Left about 1:15 pm or past.
April 06 (Saturday) = Dropped by to Food 4 Less, got there few mins. before 9 am. Got items client had told me to get when I called her before I went on my way. Then gave her a call as she asked me too, as she might think of something else. Also had called her few more times to tell her the prices of some other things she also had added. Finally got done way past 9:30 am, total amount was $37.22, tried to paid with client check she had prepared for me to use but cashier says they can't accept it since my ID and client's check didn't match, two different person and client wasn't there. So I said ok, I'm going to pay for it. And I did paid and spent $37.22 with my card. Called client to tell her I'm on my way, and that store didn't accepted check and that I paid $37+, and reminded her I'm going to drop by to her bank. She asked me if I got the Cracker Jack and I said yes. But I realized I had forgot about it so I dropped by to 99 Cents, it's on the same area with Food 4 Less, looked for Cracker Jack but they don't have it. So I just decided to drop by to Vons on my way after the bank and get it from there. Received a call from clients son on my way out 99 Cents, was asking about the statement, and telling me about the issue with the water company, and told him I'm on my way to the bank as I did groceries for client. Arrived to the bank already 10 am. There's a lie and took some time in line. Lady employee, who also had taken care of me before was my teller :) Gave her the paper Carlos gave me last Wednesday for client to sign, and the note which was supposed to be for Carlos about the March statement. Lady told me to go the the guy named Ryan, but name on the desk says Frank S. Handed him the signed paper to close client's credit line, and he checked with the statement for the check that went for San Diego City Treasurer for $212 plus. Found it, gave me a copy and I asked him to fax it to client's son, which he was about to do when I got up to leave. :) Also says he had downgraded client's account and client had refunded $30 in the account she have. Called client's son on the parking lot and old him he would probably be receiving the fax any minute now. Also called client to update her, and told me since I ws on my way, I could drop by to Vons and get Tow-House cookies. Dropped by to Vons and checked the cookie aisle and frozen aisle since she said its on the frozen section, but wasn't there, nor not on the bakery. Was about to give her a call and tell her but I noticed I had left my cp on the car! So I just picked up 2 Cracker Jack and paid for it. Spent $2.50 with my card. Arrived to client's place about 10 minutes before 11 a, client awake, and knows the time, says it's 11 am! Put dog outside and gave client her March statement while I put the check's copy for the $212 on the drawer with her permission, and told her about the bank too, and the Tow-House cookies she wanted that store doesn't have. tidied up kitchen and stored groceries. Laundried and dried clothes. Prepared lunch. Client had 3 chicken wings, glazed and Greek salad, Diet coke for drink. Likes her Greek salad and says chicken was cooked better :) Gave her vit. and other blood pressure med. before 1 pm, about 12:45 sh and a small sliced of the chocolate fudge cake for dessert. got a mail from Water and Waste Services, for a bill of $188 plus due on April 17. Called her son to tell him about it and about the shower too, that shower was working but leaking. And told me about the plumber coming on Tuesday, about 9 am. Client was chit-chatting with me, and its past 1:10 pm, and she asked for oranges. So I went and picked oranges,washed it and put on the kitchen table, let her know about it and asked me if I got some for me, says no and asked me to take some since that was the idea of her asking me to get it :) Already 1:35 pm when I finally left. P.S. Also told me about a call fr. her granddaughter and son (?) asking her to check if she has water since she told them about seeing a Water department car parked outside.
