April 15 - April 21

April 15 (Monday) = Gloomy day, a little bit rain and drizzles. Door still locked. Heard dog barked from either the hallway or client's room when I came in. Client awake, put dog outside. Client talked to me about patio umbrella's, fixing them as they are torn. Made coffee. Client had coffee and took morning blood pressure med. Called DZ Akin's a little past 9:30 am to put order: sliced Hallah bread, 1/2 lb. corned beef, and 1 cheese pocket. Then client tried to call Akin's to ask about cole slaw, wanted me to taste a little cole slaw and buy it if it's good. I called Akin's and asked for their cole slaw price, says $3.68 (or something, but it was over $3/lb.) Told client and told her if she wants cole slaw I could get it from Vons. Says she doesn't want me running around so I could drop by to Ralph's since it's on my way back and closer, to get either cole slaw, potato salad, or Greek salad, whichever I prefer. Left past 10 am to pick up Akin's order, told them I'll pick it up at 10:15 am. Got there maybe about 10:20 am or so and picked up order, spent $13.33 on DZ Akins with my card. Dropped by to Ralph's on my way and got cole slaw for $$2.99. While on the parking lot, I thought about the dog maybe not having food for today, so called client and asked. Got back inside Ralph's and got Ceasar's dog food for .99 cents each and Pet Pride for .79 cents each. Spent $3.43 with my card. Dried clothes. Swept client's bedroom and wiped kitchen floor. Perpared lunch. Client had corned beef sandwich for lunch, cole slaw, olives, and water for drink. Baked Toll House cookies, made 4 cookies. Client had fallen asleep after lunch. Gave her Osteo Bio Flex, cut in halves and told her calcium vit. and other blood pressure med. is on the kitchen table for later. Looked and started fixing patio umbrella's but it started drizzling, so I went back inside and its past 10 mins. to 1 pm anyway. Got back outside and folded umbrella's as client wanted. Wrote check for agency but doesn't want to call her bank, says they should know by now and they will take care of it. Then thought of writing letter to Ericka. I ended up leaving past 1:20 pm.

April 16 (Tuesday) = Cold, wind day day. Door still locked. Client awake. Put dog outside. Client had tea. Wanted to call ad on the newspaper page about shutters and blinds as she wants to install one in the restroom. But then she worries on where the money is coming from for it. Also told me about her granddaughter's call about her husband needing a lot of things and her granddaughter having the idea of maybe that I can drive to Coronado to her husband. Also had remembered an ad for painting, I looked for it in the kitchen but no longer there, it must have been on the trash. Client had fallen asleep after tea and talking with me. Fixed meals for lunch and dinner then shampooed vacant room's carpet. Emptied commode. She took her Osteo Bio Flex tablet in halves at 12:30 pm. Woke up client for lunch, and had past (macaroni, pieces of corned beef and diced zucchini,) steamed spinach and water for drink. Soaked soiled towels. Went outside to fix patio umbrellas but only had fixed one. Left 1:20 pm.

April 17 (Wednesday) = Door still locked. Client awake. Put dog outside and made coffee. Client thought of Popeye's for lunch and had asked me to call them. She had coffee and watched tv. Cleaned kitchen and washed the dishes. Client had her morning blood pressure med. Watered plants in the front porch. Made sweet potato then called Popeye's and asked for any special for the day, Mexican male employee told me about of $2.99 leg and thigh with biscuit and asked client what's her meal gonna be tomorrow as it's Thursday. Says soup, so I said I could get that from Vons. Left about 10:36 'sh am. Spent $3.23 on Popeyes chicken and $4.27 on Vons, got 2 cans of soup, 1 tuna and dog food. Client sleeping when I got back so I didn't wake her up but prepared tuna sandwich for tomorrow. Client had lunch before 12 pm, had the Popeyes chicken with biscuit and water for drink. Told me after chicken is still raw and she doesn't like the biscuit, (made facial expression on how it taste.) Thought about calling Popeyes and asked me if she would or just let it go. Shower (first shower after the shower was fixed.). Had her vit. and other blood pressure medicine past 1 pm. Watching tv on the vacant room, watching the shopping channel. Got oranges. Left 1:42 pm.

April 18 (Thursday) = OFF

April 19 (Friday) = Beautiful day. Dog outside on leased, which went inside with me when I arrived. Client awake, lying in bed. Asked for the tv to be turned on. Had tea and asked for a silk, black pants to be look on her cabinet and I found it. Client continued watching tv, the news about Boston bombing.  Washed towels used yesterday with the shower. cleaned kitchen. Then fall asleep. Emptied commode. Client was awakened by the dog, licking her face, she was happy about it and wanted me to know, but addressed me first as Carrie, twice, her former Filipina caregiver, then called me on my name  :) Told me about her calling Vons asking for tv dinners and the nice guy answered phone and told her about on sale tv dinners for $2.+ something. Asked her what she's gonna have for lunch and told me again about the tv dinner call, but then was thinking about having Chinese Food, and told her the dog doesn't gonna have anything for lunch. Client wrote check for Vons, for dog food, dessert, pancake syrup, Cracker Jack. Left before 11 am, went to Vons and got all the items, also got 1 can of tomato soup, and 2 potatoes. Paid using client's check. Then went next to Great Wall Express for Chinese Food, used my card and spent $5.93, got chicken, beans and lo mein with m. Diet Coke. Client sleeping when I came back so I went on preparing lunch. Feed dog first so dog won't bother client on her lunch. Woke up client for lunch about 11:47 'sh am. Then falls asleep after lunch. Woke her up for vit. and other blood pressure med. Left almost 1:20 pm.

April 20 (Saturday) = Dog outside on leased. Client awake. Doesn't want coffee or tea, says she's up 2:30 am to look for roaches around. Spent some time chit-chatting. Then had 2 waffles about or around 10 am and fall asleep. Woke her up to asked her what she wants for lunch, told me she wasn't hungry but  told me about Subway's $4, choice of sandwich and a drink, and asked me to call. No answer from Subway and I found the ad on the kitchen. Told client that I'm gonna go to Burger King instead and told her the choices of sandwiches from Subway. Also asked me to get cream from Rite-Aid. Left about 11 am and went to Burger King . Got 2 Whoppers, with a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free. Spent $4.31 with my card. Then went next to Rite-Aid and got Rite-Aid brand pain cream ultra strength and 6" bubble mailer. Spent $6.49 with my card. Client using the mini vacuum on her bedroom, brought in the Whopper but says she wasn't hungry yet and told me to have lunch instead, and she continued vacuuming, while I brought Whopper back to kitchen. Swept carpet on her bedroom and changed rug, also took out the 2 tiles. Brought back the warmed up Whopper for her by 12:30 pm and water for drink. Enjoyed her lunch :) Also baked 5 cookies and had it done before 1 pm. Took her vit. and other blood pressure med. Also had made her baked potatoes, steamed spinach and fried ___. Mentioned her owing me time, asked me how much and I said 2 and 1/2 hours. Asked her when she wants me to make up for it and told me I could make up whenever I want to as I might need to go earlier or come later one day, then I could use it. Client chit-chatted and I got to leave past 1:30 pm.

April 21 (Sunday) = OFF!
