Dec. 24 - Dec. 30

Dec. 24 (Monday) = Raining on my way today. Client sitting in the kitchen with the dog when I came in at 9 am. Put clothes on the dog as client wanted too when she learned it was raining, put dog on leash but doesn't wanna go outside because of the rain. Tidied up the kitchen. Made client tea and cooked scrambled egg and the remaining 2 slices of bacon but client only ate one. Then made an order to DZ Akins at 9:30 am. Went in there before 10 am to pick up order and was drizzling :) Akins was so busy, packed of people and has to get number to be helped. Used cash instead of my debit and spent $15.85. Left Akins at already 10:30 am. Client in her room when I got back, did laundry and cleaned kitchen. Also called 99 Cents Store in University to asked if they have poinsettias and a large baking pan 14" as client wants to know. Did prepared sandwiches for clients lunch and one to save on the fridge for her meal.Then cooked pasta and bacon and sweet yam. Gave client shower at 11:40 am. Client had lunch at 12:30 noon in the vacant room watching QVC, had pastrami sandwich, a small slice of apple stroudle, steamed zucchini and water for drink. Gave blood pressure med. at past 1 pm. and tidied up what needs to be tidied up. Called Citibank on behalf of client to see if she has enough money in the bank as today's Monday. Had talked to an employee, named something like Jason/Jayson (?) Client had a transfer of $400 from her savings to her checking. Wrote the check in the kitchen table as says she can't see in the bedrooms. Left at already 1:31 pm and went to the office. Dropped the time sheets as it was closed for the Holidays. Client didn't know today was the 24th and tomorrow's the Christmas Day! Client gave me the Ross card.

Dec. 25 (Tuesday) = OFF! Christmas Day! ^-^'

Dec. 26 (Wednesday) = Raining. :) Client sleeping when I arrived. Tried to put dog out but doesn't wanna go out. Tidied up client's room. Asked/said I didn't went out to the groceries and I said I don't have money to spend for groceries. Said we'll get money for it. Didn't want tea as said she had teas last night. Then I went to do cleaning in the kitchen. Did some laundry (towels used on shower last Dec. 24th.)  Steamed potato slices along with zucchini slices. Client went out in the kitchen while I'm preparing lunch and we chit chatted. Had lunch together in the kitchen. Client had pastrami sandwich, three slices of potatoes and zucchinis, some pasta I made last 24th that I prepared for her meal which she hadn't touched and water for drink. Made a list for groceries tomorrow for Food 4 Less and client wrote a check for the groceries. Picked up oranges and client had one. Gave her blood pressure med. at before 1 pm and I turned on the tv for her TV show at 1 pm on the vacant room. Told her I'm going to Ross and return the pink robe on my way home. Still wanted me to look something for myself. Left at already past 1:15 pm. Sent mail to client's son: two bills. That's the SDG&E and COX bill with a Christmas card client want to be sent to her husband (card addressed to both of them) and some other mails.) Went to Ross and returned client's robe. Got a voucher worth $16 and some cents.

Dec. 27 (Thursday) = Did groceries on Food 4 Less. Spent about more than $30 and paid with client's check. Client awake when I arrived, put dog outside, had a little chit chat with client and tidied up kitchen and prepared the roast on the oven. Client asked for a lightly boiled egg as said she hadn't had dinner. (Didn't touched the pasta and zucchini I did for her.) Did the roast at almost 11 am, then did the sweet yam and steamed veges (broccoli and zucchini.) Did laundry. Served lunch at past 12 noon: the pasta with steamed veges and soda pop (Diet Coke.) Client had a scoop or two of chocolate ice cream. Turned off oven at almost 1:15 pm. Turned on tv on the vacant room for client and she went and watch tv in there. Gave blood pressure med when client got in there to watch her favorite talk show :) Also made mashed potatoes with olives and put on the fridge with the sweet yam. Left peach pie on the table and returned the Ross card and the other voucher to client (in ziplock bag) I got for returning the robe to the store yesterday. Left already 1:45 pm.

Dec. 28 ( Friday) = Client awake when I got in there, put dog outside. Talking about if the meat would be ok as it was left overnight on the oven. And I reminded her I asked her about it yesterday before I left and she said it was ok to leave it there as it was hot, said she didn't know I was asking a question. Reassured client the meat was ok as she wanted me to call a butcher and ask. Did cleaning, shampooed carpet in the vacant room and tidied up kitchen and swept client's room. Client had 1 boiled egg, but doesn't want tea. Warmed up the meat and tasted it and gave client a small piece with the egg so she can taste it herself. Had lunch about 11:45 am: client had two slices of meat with gravy, cut it into serving pieces, mashed potato, sweet yam, a slice of peach pie and water for drink. After lunch said the meat was too dry and hard to chew and wanted to let the butcher know. Had fallen asleep after lunch. Woke up client at 1 pm and gave blood pressure med. Turned on tv in the vacant room as client wanted me to for her show. :) Left at 1:15 pm. Told client I would go to the office to get time sheets and wanted to write a note again for the office about items missing in her home but I said I could just tell to the office, and so she counted items missing. Put black trash bin on the curb as I noticed neighbors trashes are outside. But then office was closed.

Dec. 29 (Saturday) = A gloomy morning, looks like it will rain. Door was about 5 to 6 inches open with client's robe tie halfway out the door. Dog was in the kitchen lying facing the door. Put dog outside and went to client's room. Client was sleeping and woke her up letting her know I'm there. Told me dog got out. Made client tea, the Lemon Tea Lift I got from Food 4 Less. Was talking since yesterday about Kmart having 50% off sales. Trash bin collected. :) Did tidied up the kitchen and emptied trash can.  Made pot roast out of the meat e had yesterday for lunch but just made it from the stove instead. Went to CVS Pharmacy and got Tylenol, the pain cream, Oreo chocolate cookies, and 2 bags of Snickers candies which is on 50% sale (Christmas candies.) Paid with client's check. Got back almost 11:30 am and client was sleeping. Emptied commode while she's asleep. Served lunch before 12 noon. Client had roast beef sandwich, steamed vegetables (zucchini and broccoli) and 2 cookies and water for drink. Made her another sandwich for meal tomorrow's Sunday, 3 tv dinners are on the freezer and canned soup on the table. Woke up client about 15 minutes to 1 pm for her blood pressure med and she called her bank as she wants me to go to Kmart on my way home to get robes and night gown. Left past 1 pm and got to Kmart 1:18 pm. Got 1 robe and 1 night gown and paid with client's check. Left already 1:44 pm. Got a call from client evening about her granddaughter call and them coming over and asked me to go to work tomorrow to clean and wrap gifts. :)

Dec. 30 (Sunday) = Went to client 8 am, client awake, was about to put dog outside but doesn't wanna go out. Started loading the washer and dryer as soon as I got in. Changed bed sheets, called Food 4 Less with the client about the meat and had talked to Josie about the meat and that client wanting to get prime rib, tidied up client's room, and kitchen, wrapped gifts, shampooed carpet. Made client while she was sitting in the kitchen and I was done wrapping the first gift (for her daughter-in-law.) Also picked a rose as she wants it to put on top of the gift and picked oranges too. Planned to leave at 10 am but then got out at already 10:42 am. Left client still sitting in the kitchen chair.
