Dec. 10 (Monday) = Called client in the morning about 8:35 am or so to tell her/remind her I'd be in there at 10 am because I stayed until 2 pm last Saturday (Dec. 08) for her shower. We talked about lunch and she was talking about a restaurant, Sushi restaurant in 59th St. but changed to beef bacon sandwich. And so I dropped by to Food 4 Less to get beef bacon, Coke for .98 cents and dill relish. Spent $7.92 with my card. I also had dropped by to 99 Cents Store first to check if they have dill pickle but they don't have it. Got to client's home about 10:04 am, client awake. Put dog outside and made tea and gave her morning med. for the blood pressure. Then did laundry, and tidied up the kitchen. Then had spent some time with client in her room as she was chit chatting with me and I got into finding the recipe book and looking for the potato latkes / potato pancake recipe. Had received a call from Carlos from Citibank about client's record of the check she had used to purchased the two walkers she have that they cannot find it. Then its about 11:15 when I had shampooed the vacant room close to the kitchen as doggie's spots are in there. Prepared lunch about almost 11:40 am. Client had beef bacon sandwich, broccoli steamed, a slice of coconut cream pie for dessert and glass of soda pop for drink. Answered the phone as client doesn't want answering phone calls. Gave the other blood pressure med. at past 1 pm, also client had made the check ready for my agency as it was Monday today, I'm going in there. About 1:15 or so, just when I'm about to leave, client asked to find the unused Nivea lotion under her bed. Also told me if I wanna come later tomorrow I can.Told her I will come at 9 am but insist I think over it. Left at already 1:25 pm.
Dec. 11 (Tuesday) = Called client last night and let her know I will be be coming at 9 am and NOT later. Talked about making the potato pancakes / Potato latkes and wants me to buy the ingredients tomorrow on my way. And so I did. Dropped by to 99 Cents store first, was about 10 or 11 minutes early on the store, before 9 am. Got detergent, onion, garlic, cooking oil, and potatoes, spent $6.08 with my card. Then went to Food 4 Less and got American cheese, 2 dog foods, and spent $3.28. Had called client and told her store doesn't have Matzol balls, and she corrected me twice saying it was Cracker flour, or called Matzo meal. ^-^' Had decided I would just dropped by to Vons and find it in there. Dropped by next to Vons, last stop, and called client as I found Matzo Meal which is about or more than $2 and there's a ready to cook potato pancake which is $1.99, and so we decided on that one. Also got 2 tv dinnets (Banquet) and soda pop, Coke. Spent $5.34 with my card. Got to client's place about 10 am or a little past 10 am, she was awake. Put dog outside and made client tea. She had called her husband today and asked if husband had received the package we sent, and he had received it. Also, still talking about the employee from CVS and client thinks she was lying about sending the walker parts as it wasn't on the mail yet. Had called Ralphs on Montezuma St. and wanted to ask about the mini chocolate cupcakes but can't get through. And also had called Rite-Aid pharmacy to try and refill the "no refill" hydrochlorothiazide, pharmacy answered and said will call doctor first as it has no refills left. Watered roses today and picked about 6 oranges as client said. Then back at 11:30 inside and started making potato pancakes and bacon. Client went to the kitchen past 12 noon and sat down and told me stories while I was preparing lunch ^-^' We ate on the kitchen and client had bacon sandwich, 2 potato pancakes which she likes :) zucchini and Coke for drink. Gave her other blood pressure med. at past 1 pm, and turned on tv on the vacant room before I left. Talking about me calling DMV and ask about fixing her car on the garage and what needs to be done. Client gave me 2 oranges and some Whopper strawberry candies before I left. Still sitting on the kitchen when I left. Left at 1:16 pm.
Dec. 12 (Wednesday) = Client awake when arrived, put dog outside. And client told met o call DMV as soon as I came into her room about car on the garage. Called DMV and was told by the second tech. that registration will cost about $189 if it is renewed this year and will be good for 2 years. OR wait until next year's Feb. or March and do the registration, will cost about $84 and it will be good for 1 year. Made client tea and gave morning med. for blood pressure. Did laundry, cleaned client's bedroom, and changed bed sheets, also emptied commode. Went to Burger King with a coupon of $5 for two Whopper and 2 value fries. Used my card and spent $5.39. Client had the whopper, and value fries, the last slice of cream pie dessert, and soda pop for drink past 12 noon. Turned on tv on the vacant room before I left, client watching her favorite show "The Talk Show" at 1 pm when I left about 1:15 pm. Had given her, her other blood pressure med. before I left.
Dec. 13 (Thursday) = OFF!
Dec. 14 (Friday) = (Rainy day yesterday.) But no rain on my way today :) Got to client, still lying in bed, probably still sleeping but awakened as the dog noticed me in the bedroom's door. Put dog outside and made client tea. Gave morning med. She told me she hadn't taken her meds. yesterday, and I noticed it as meds. are still on the plate. Also told me her son called the other night asking if she had already paid me for the $44.97 money I spent for client's husband's package that she sent. Called 1-866 number for activation of client's Citibank debit card, as she wanted me too. Talked to her that she cannot use it yet as there's no PIN and I suggested we call the bank. She asked me to made the call and talked to an employee, Luke and says they can set up a new PIN in the bank. Client and I agreed to go to DZ Akins to get lunch. Made an oeder about 10 minutes before 10 am: hallah bread, 1/2 lbs. corned beef, 1 cheese pocket. Used my card and spent $14.23. Got there almost 11 am as I took some time looking on client's closet for a coat she wanted me to wear, says I'm not going out without a coat :) Cannot find the green coat so I just took a pink coat instead. Made lunch at 11:30, while client was on the phone calling her husband, thinking about sending the items back on the store that her husband doesn't like. Client had lunch about 10 minutes before 12 noon, sandwich, steamed spinach, potato salad, and water for drink. Asked for a dessert after lunch and I gave her a slice of cheese pocket. Love the lunch specially the corned beef, but not the potato salad :)Gave her other blood pressure med. about before 1:15 pm. I left at 1:21 pm. Recycle bin collected today! ^-^' Heard client on the phone as I go and bring her tea, talking to an employee in Kohls, and later told me she had set aside a Junior size clothing in my name.
Dec. 15 (Saturday) = Dog was waiting for me in the kitchen when I came in. Put dog outside, client awake. Went through coupons she wanted to keep. Made her tea and continued with the coupons. First she was thinking about El Pollo Loco for lunch, then changed mind to Subway as she remembered watching an ad about some $2 special so I called Subway. About 10:35 am left for Rite-Aid, client wrote a check for and I got the Milo's dog treat (2,) with coupon, Diet Coke for 99 cents, Advil liquid gels with coupon, Mrs. Fields snickerdoodle cookies (buy 1 get 1 free with wellness card,) and got 1 small Alpo dog food. Called client for chocolates from Rite-Aid as she wants me to get some for Carlos in Citibank as her thank you for his help, but says let it go for now with the prices. Went next to Citibank to cash in check $50, Gesualdo helped me with it and also had talked to him as I brought client's debit card with me, needs new PIN as we doesn't know the PIN. Says it is illegal to do so as client needs to be present. Then went next to Subway and got tuna sandwich for $6 + tax. Arrived back about 11:15 am, client sleeping so I didn't bother her instead, prepared foods for her for tomorrow. Gave debit card, and $42 cash plus coins to client when she woke up and called me in. Client had tuna sandwich for lunch, broccoli, (didn't touched it though and the cookie,) and soda pop. Gave other blood pressure med. with soda pop and client was thinking of paying the bicycle repair shop for her walker at 1:06 pm, then we decided to call CVS and asked the female employee in there if she had sent the walker parts as client was pissed, said the employee told her that she's gonna send it "right now" on the mail. Called CVS and had talked to employee named Michael (or is it Mike?) went and checked and says the lady in charge in that department isn't there and would be back on Monday 8 am. Also client wanted me to drop by to Kohls for me to see the clothes she had set aside in my name for me. Says I list down the amount I spend with it and she would pay me. Already 1:24 when I left, but also had left a Toys R us ad and 2 Mrs. Fields cookies on neighbors front porch, the one on the right side. Went to Kohls and had picked up the 4 clothes and one jacket in my name (Press E.) Called client and told her the clothes are pretty, but was too showy. And that I would just try next week on Ross.
Dec. 16 (Sunday) = OFF!
