Dec. 17 - Dec. 23

Dec. 17 (Monday) = Client awake when I arrived. Put dog outside. Client talking about prime rib and her calling to Food 4 Less and talking to the butcher department about a man named Josie and that the guy said he will gave a recipe for it. And that she called Vons too and that they are cheaper on price per lbs. Made client tea, scrambled egg, and 2 pieces of potato baked. Client gave me $40 cash for the grocery and lunch and Rite-Aid. Went to Vons to get prime rib but then grocery store doesn't have it, only pork. Called client a few times from there. Got cheesecake slice for dessert, the pop corn box, 1 Priority dog food and 1 in small pack which is .65 cents. And then went to Great Wall Express to get lunch, 3 combo and 1 medium drink, Diet Coke, spent $5.49 + tax. Dropped by next to Rite-Aid as client wants me to get M & M's salty mix for Carlos in the bank. Got the M & M's salty mix with $1 off coupon. Also went to Pharmacy for consultation as client wants me to ask for the pain med. for her arthritis aside from creams. Chinese pharmacist is on duty and was told 150 to 160 grams of Tylenol. Got back past 11:30 am and prepared client lunch. Served lunch about 11:45 am, just small lunch as she requested as she was still full from the egg and potato. Some beans, orange chicken, and lo mein for lunch and half of the soda pop (Diet Coke.) Called CVS in Fletcher Parkway as client wants me to call them regarding her walker parts that she said she had been told by the lady employee that "she will send it now on the mail." Had talked to the employee and If I remember it right, her name was Carrie, says she's still waiting for the RA ( or the Nova company's ok that she will be reimbursed for the item for sending it to client. Or that I could come there and pick it up. I told client I could come there and pick it up, it's ok with me. Gave other blood pressure med. at about past 1 pm. Had picked 2 roses as client wants to give it to my other client, in Chula Vista, Esmie. Left at already 1:16 pm. Dropped by to the office as it's Monday and had told Patty from the office about Mrs. Weissmann wanting to give roses or candies to other client, and Mrs. W. was trying to buy me clothes.

Dec. 18 (Tuesday) = Dropped by to Food 4 Less to get Prime rib and few other items. Got 10 minutes early (before 9 am) and got "eye of the round roast" for almost $10, got cauliflower, 1 tomatoes, 2 zucchini, coleslaw and 2 cream of mushroom soup. Called client and told her the employee, Josie whom she talked to and told her that's going to give her recipe was off for today and will be back tomorrow. Paid $20 cash on the register which client gave me yesterday for today and had used my card for the difference, $1.41 short. Client awake, when I arrived, put dog outside and made client tea. Was raining, but went to Rite-Aid as client wants me to get Tylenol, cream and poinsettia, had a check for it and also had given me $1.65 cash in case I go short. Also had returned the Advil which I got about 2 or 3 days ago and got refund for that which I used to pay for the items. Then I used client's check to pay for the difference. And just when I'm ready to leave the counter, the register forgot to ring in the poinsettia! And so I used my debit card for it. But then she forgot to scan my Rite-Aid wellness card and so she fixed it by returning the flower and ringing it again, scanning my Wellness card this time. Helaine was the register :) With my card I spent $6.50. Got back and gave client Tylenol a little past 11 am. And massage with Bengay cream on left side and shoulder, and both feet. Showed poinsettia and likes it :) Done 11:33 am and prepared lunch. Client had lunch at about 12:15 noon: bacon sandwich, zucchini steamed, coleslaw and water for drink. Also I went out to get oranges, got 12 oranges :) Had 2 oranges ready in slices on the fridge and made sandwich corned beef and broccoli. Client was sleeping, woke her up and gave blood pressure med. Then I left already 1:31 pm.

Dec. 19 (Wednesday) = Back door was open about 3 - 4 inches when I came in. Dog was on the kitchen facing the door, seems like he just went out. Client was walking towards the kitchen and sat in on the chair, told me dog just got out. Made her tea and ate half of the corned beef sandwich I made yesterday.  Was telling me stories as I clean the oven, and tidied up kitchen. And just before 10 am client walked back to room while I continued cleaning the oven, toaster, washed dishes, and sanitized the utensils and cleaned its drawers. Then got into cooking potato pancakes, sweet yams, and steamed veges (carrots and cauliflower for client's dinner and tomorrow.) Served 1 potato pancake with coleslaw for client at 12:15 noon and water  for drink. Separated papers on trash for recycle and emptied trash, and dried clothes. Cleaned microwave and tidied up kitchen. Gave client other blood pressure med. at past 1 pm, woke her up for it. Then gave me $3 as she wants me to drop by to 99 Cents and get the 3 Cheetos Puffs and 1 Tootsie Rolls. Asked her if she wants me to return robe to Ross as she had mentioned the other day she want it back on the store. So I brought the robe with me going home to return it on Friday. Also, DMV mail arrived today. Left at already 1:21 pm.

Dec. 20 (Thursday) = OFF! (Called client past 8 pm as she wanted to be called for groceries tomorrow.)

Dec. 21 (Friday) = Called client on my way to tell her I can't find the receipt of Ross for the robe she wanted to return.Told her I'm just dropping by to 99 Cents, and client told me drop by to Food 4 Less too and get honey am instead, and she called on the deli dept. and lady employee was keeping eye for me for the ham. :) Went by to 99 Cents and got the two Cheetos Puffs and one Tootsie Roll and spent $3 plus tax with client's $1 bills. Then dropped by next to Food 4 Less and got groceries. Got Honey ham for lunch, small dessert (cheese cake slice,) 2 dog food cans, soda pop (Diet Coke,) and spent $8.93 with my card. Also got the recipe from Josie in the meat department. Got back about before 9 :45 am, client awake, put dog outside and did my work on cleaning up the kitchen. Client sweeping her room as I tidied up the kitchen. Made client tea and I continued cleaning her room, changed the rug, and washed rugs too. Cleaned dogs mess on vacant room across the hallway, supposed to be Charles room (husband.) Served client lunch at about almost 12:15 noon, ham sandwich, small slice of cheese cake for dessert, steamed zucchini and soda pop for drink. Steamed a bit of carrots and cauliflower for client's dinner, got it ready with a potato pancake.  Gave high blood pressure med. at past 1 pm (woke up client,) and told her about DMV mail. Decided to set it aside and hide it on the drawer in her bedroom. :) Left at about 1:20 pm.

Dec. 22 (Saturday) = Got in client sitting on the vacant room going to the kitchen. Put dog outside and went through papers on top of the dressing, thrown most away and cleaned top drawer. Made client tea. Cleaned what needs to be cleaned and tidied up and went to Popeye's for lunch. Got 5 chicken with a coupon of $3.99 and got one biscuit. Spent $3.99 + tax and the biscuit. Tried the clogged restroom and it worked! Also received the walker parts from CVS today; and called the bicycle shop as client worried about paying the shop, had talked to an employee and told him as what the owner said and was told," if the owner says no charge, then there's no charge for it." Told the client I had gotten the recipe from Josie from Food 4 Less. :) She's happy with all the good things happened. :) I noticed she had put the dolls on her room window. Served lunch, 2 pieces of chicken, leg and a thigh, the biscuit, steamed vege (carrots, cauliflower, and 3 pieces of zucchini) and water for drink. Fall asleep after lunch. Woke up client when I'm about to go and gave blood pressure med. Left at about 1:15 pm. And went to Ross with client's robe that she wanted to return, got there but hadn't have client's card (Ross card) that I used to buy the robe so I chose just to come back and return it when I have the card with me. Been trying to call client twice but phone's busy, gave her a call instead when I got home.

Dec. 23 (Sunday) = OFF!
