Jan. 06 - Jan. 12

Jan. 06 (Monday) = Dog outside. Client awake, lying in bed. Tells me her sons visit. Says it was a good visit. Then feels pain. Massaged back and used warm compress. Client had tea, took Hydrochlorothiazide. Tidied up kitchen area. Laundry and dryer continued.Turned on tv. Opened gift with client her son and family gave me. :) Decided on Burger King. Asked her if she  want to try Alaskan fish sandwich, and says yes. But client says she doesn't have enough money and was about to find coins again. And asked if I have money with me, she would just give it back tomorrow. So I said I could just pay for it first. Left maybe almost 11:20 'sh am. Got Burger King's Alaskan fish sandwich, chocolate pie, and value fries w/o salt. Spent $6.88 with my card. Client had it for lunch with water for drink. Client fall asleep after lunch. Had pain med. 1 pm. Explained to her time of taking the next tablets and understood. Massaged back again with pain cream. Wrote check for office and reminded her she still owes office  for 2 weeks. Left a little passed 1 pm.

Jan. 07 (Tuesday) = Dog outside. Client already awake, lying in bed. Then the pain and back itch. So scratched back, massaged with pain cream, back rub. Made tea. And client fall asleep when I got back so had just let her asleep. Client was deeply asleep. Tidied up kitchen. Did more laundry and dryer. Tried to wake up client 10:30 am for grocery list, but client deeply asleep. Let her slept more. Stayed in room for a while, and spoke to client when she made movement. Client woke up 10:40 'sh am. Says back started hurting again. Massaged with pain cream, warm water, back scratches. Says back's hurting and itches. Client wrote check for Ralphs. Turned on tv. I left 11:40 'sh am already. Got items from Ralphs, paid with the check. Client sleeping when got back.Prepared lunch,beef bacon sandwich. Client had it for lunch, with steamed spinach and hot cocoa for drink. Woke up client for lunch. Wants to take pain med.before lunch but told her she have to eat first. Says she took pain med.before I came in but don't remember the time when asked what time she had taken it. Prepared Healthy Choice salmon and grains tv dinner. Client lying in bed after dinner, sleeping but was awakened when I came in to pick up plate. Told her she can now take pain med, its about 1:30 pm. Says she had already taken it before lunch since she was hurting. Rubbed her back and put pain cream. Refilled pain med. Client asked if I want to stay an hour more or 30 minutes, I said I could only stay 30 minutes. Says ok, I could use it to rest since it's late and she knows I'd be running around so I said ok. Went back to kitchen and finishes things needs to be done, washed dishes. Then massaged back again with the cream, rubbed, dialed phone for client for her as she want to talk to him about Pest Control guy. Told client time of taking her next doses of pain med. Left 2:40 'sh pm already.

Jan. 08 (Wednesday) = Dog outside. Client awake. Says back pain. So spent almost an hour massaging her back with the pain cream, back rub, warm compress. Says took pain med. early but don't know remember her time of taking it. Turned on tv. Reminded client about Chase bank, money needed to be deposited, $500. Made tea and boiled egg. Client had the tea while I massaged her back again, pain cream, back scratched, (says back itches and hurts) warm compress. Soaked soiled bedsheets, dried clothes. Tidied up kitchen. Prepared meds .for tomorrow. Client made check for $500 for Chase bank and called Citibank to check her balance on checking: spoke to Carlos, says she was told she have/had $700 on her checking. Was about to look for $2 coins so I told client I could just pay for lunch first, (it's already passed 11 am and have to go to the bank.) At Citibank and cashed in $500, teller: Julian. Deposited $500 to Chase bank, teller: Katara. went to Subway and bought oven roasted chicken, with Sunny chips. Spent $6.40 with my card at Subway for oven roasted chicken. At Rite-Aid next and got writing tablet, pain cream, a Hershey bar, paid with client's check. Back passed 11:35 'sh am. Prepare lunch. Clint had lunch before 12 noon, half of the sandwich, some chips, and hot cocoa for drink. Client says she took 1 pain med. about 30 minutes ago (makes it before 11:30 am.) Reminded her, pain med. SHOULD be every 8 hours. Client says, she was hurting so she took pain med. Had made beef bacon sandwich and half of oven roasted chicken on fridge. Client took her Atenolol before 1:30 pm. Explained her times of taking pain meds. and had refilled pain meds too. Massaged back again, back rub,backs scratched. Wants me to come tomorrow instead coming on Friday.

NOTE: Client spoke to CVS pharmacy and asked again about osteoporosis and uses of pain cream and hot water. Then called Alvarado too.


Jan. 09 (Thursday) = Dog outside. Client awake. Back pain. Massaged and back rub with pain cream. Mae tea. Client sleeping when came back to room for tea. Let client sleep. Tidied up kitchen. Continued laundry. Client woke up after about an hour. Had the tea and ate a cookie. Massaged back again, rubbed, warm water. Client called Akins for soup, learned it was almost $10 and decided not to. Called Ralphs next she decided for Ralphs soup instead, was told Home Style soup was on sale. Client looked for change. Not enough so wrote check instead. Called her son to find the doctor she wants, the one no longer with the mobile physician. Left a little passed 11:30 for Ralphs. Got items. Paid with client's check. Heated soup as client says will only have soup. Client had soup passed 12 noon. Took pain med. 1:30 pm (says want to take it now as she was hurting.)  Says she took one in the morning, around 6' sh am. Mae beef bacon sandwich. Back rubbed and massaged again. Client wants to be called tomorrow morning when I told her "see you Saturday," as I'm off tomorrow, she exchanged Thursday to Friday yesterday. Left passed 1:30 pm.

Client had missed call. Called client back. Says just her idea, she was feeling better, not well but a bit better and scared of being alone and wants me to come. Told her I could come but could only stay until 11 pm, I have to pick up mom at 12 am, I used her car to picked up dad and drove him to his doctor's appointment and now have to pick up mom 12 am. Had talked to client instead for 2 hours. Reminded her of her wanting me to call her tomorrow, but then started thinking of me coming and decided on what to have for lunch.

Jan. 10 (Friday) = Was supposed to be off today, but had talked to client last night and wanted me to give her a call today and see if she wants me to come. Called client but phone's off hook. Texted her son (with client prolly needs someone at night too.) And called Merriliee.

 Kitchen's phone and bedroom was off hook. Client awake. Says back pain. Spent time massaging back with pain cream, back rub, hot water. Client had tea and took Hydrochlorothiazide. Laundry and dryer. Tidied up kitchen. Client wrote check for Vons. Son called about talking to client to go to mobile physician's office and get treated. Talked to client while massaging her back again. Doesn't want to. Called son, left a voicemail. Got a call from son and says plan B is for the mobile physician to come (PA) with an RN and wrap client. Also wrote for check for Rite-Aid for phone cord. Got call from client's on at Rite-Aid saying he'll call mobile physician and confirm time they will arrive and will call me back. Got phone cord and another muscle rub. Paid with client's check. At Vons next and got items needed. Paid with client's check. Just got back to client's place and got voicemail of hers on about mobile physician on their way in 25 to 20 minutes. Prepared client. Walked client to the living room. Client was in pain and exhausted. PA and RN arrived, took client's vital signs, says all are good. Wrapped client and had her took the breath test on a tube. Prescribed Vicodin and says take 1/2 tablet as a start. Can take it with Ibufrofin. PA and RN left and client gave them the strawberry shortcake. Client asking if I could stay overnight. Told he maybe until 11 pm. Walked client back to her room. Prepared lunch, 1:45 'sh pm. Called her son about the visit and client's asking me to stay overnight, says "that's up to you Precy." Client called me about her wrap, asking if she could take it off and showed wrap to me. Took wrap off client as it got all wrinkled up and got into her skin. Client was upset of her son and PA. Continued preparing lunch (fried breaded salmon.) Client had zucchini, half of baked potato and salmon for lunch and water for drink. Called Merrilee for client wanting me to stay overnight and I said she have prescription too,and maybe i it will work I could just stay until 11 pm. She asked me to call client's son and tell him to give her a call. Son says he's busy overlooking important event, asked Merrilee to call instead. Called Merrilee back and told her, give her client's son's phone number. Left for Rite-Aid for prescription. Received call from Merrilee,asked me until what hour I've been there, says 9 am and if client wants me to stay overnight, I will be thee tomorrow too , and that's until 1 pm. Says she will send someone else. Texted client's son and let him know. Got a call from him while on Rite-Aid. Picked up  Vicodin prescription about 4:10 'sh pm. Asked lady pharmacist too about  taking Ibufrofin and Vicodin. Back before or 4:30 'sh pm. Changed towel rug on her room and started shampooing  vacant room.  4:45 'sh pm, call from Noelia, reliever. Talked to her about routines. Introduced  her to client. Client's ok with her and nice. Muscle rub  at client, and hot towel at maybe 5:30 'sh pm. Left 5:45 'sh pm already.

Jan. 11 (Saturday) = Texted Merrilee  4:20 'sh am about me having cold and if she could send someone tomorrow for the client.  Says she will call Noelia 7 or 8 'sh am and will let me know. Got a call from  her 7 'sh am, and says Noelia is ok with it. But asked me to go to client 9 am just to make sure Noelia can get inside.

At client's place 9 am, then Noelia arrived and Merrilee. Showed her client's meds., showed up to client and just said hi, that I'm sick and won't be able to work and client was told to call office when she needs someone. Emptied commode and rinse. Wrote down client fall Dec. 20 on Merrilee's piece of band paper. Also told her client fall Dec. 20, got the back pain, Dec. 31 and received x-ray result of broken rib Jan. 4.

Jan. 12 (Sunday) = OFF!
