Jan. 07 - Jan. 13

Jan. 07 (Monday) = Arrived 9:06 am, client still in bed, asleep. Knocked on the door letting her know I'm there and put the dog outside. Noticed client coughing. Said that she had been up most of the time last night as dog was terrible as she says. Let dog out and went back to talk to client, says she doesn't like her bedsheet as it's cold, and thin, wants me to look at blankets, four blankets this time to use on the bed. Made her Lipton Mandarin Orange tea. Did laundry and tidied up kitchen, put poinsettia on a sunny spot on the backdoor. Swept bedroom and under the bed. Client also wondering where the two new lipstick that I got from Rite-Aid last Saturday was. Had also called Citibank today as I reminded client about her writing a check for the agency last Friday and she doesn't have enough money on her bank. And that it is also Monday today, which means she has to write another one for the agency. Client fall asleep again for a little bit. And I started looking for the blankets as she wakes up. Was about to change her bedsheets but she had decided to do it later as dog was sleeping on the bed. Went on the kitchen and started making sweet potato and steamed veges,( zucchini, carrots, and broccoli.) Then made bacon. Client had lunch about 11:45 am, bacon sandwich, sweet potatoes and steamed veges. then had water for drink. Was watching tv while having her lunch. Gave her blood pressure med. about 12:30 pm then emptied commode. Had planned to change bedsheet but got into cleaning the commode when I emptied it. Left 1:16 pm while client was still watching tv.
NOTE: Mailed 3 mails to son today: one from water department and 2 addressed for client's husband. A bank statement and one is about health plan information.

Jan. 08 (Tuesday) = Awake, sitting on the edge of her bed when I got in. Put dog outside. Then head back to client's room and talked about her seeing sales on Target, and that dog was terrible last night and she was worried about neighbors, etc. and lunch. We decided for me to go to Akins. Made client tea, Lipton Mandarin Orange and gave her 2 Tylenols with it as she asked for 2 Tylenols. Then called Akins about or before 9:30 am to make the order, talked to a Mexican employee, a man and put order of 1/2 lbs. pastrami, cheese pocket, pickle, and hallah bread (slice.) Then I suggested I could just get the soda pop from Rite-Aid when client ask for drink. Gave me $14 for Akins and another $3 bill and some change (about .95) for Rite-Aid. Decided I would go to Rite-Aid first. Left at 10:30 am and went first to Rite-Aid and got Diet Coke for .99 cents, and $1 Hersheys chocolate. Called client twice about prices of swab and dog snack. Decided not to get both when she learned about the prices. Then head next to Akins. The Asian lady was there and took cared of me after I got a number (I remember I got number 55. ^-^' Then paid $13 and some cents. Still has $1 and some changes left and gave it back to client with her brown wallet. Client had lunch at 11:45 am, had the pastrami sandwich, steamed vege. (carrots, zucchini and broccoli,) 1 fun size Hershey bar and Diet Coke for drink. Made her another pastrami sandwich with sweet potato for dinner. Liked her lunch but says meat is dry/hard to chew thou flavorful. Gave blood pressure med. at 12:30 pm and mailed her entry to Price Clearing House before 1 pm.Turned on tv on the vacant room before I left. Left at 1:15 pm.

Jan. 09 (Wednesday) = Dropped by to 99 Cents and got groceries at 8:30 am and spent $22.71. Got dog foods, dog snack, 1 tv dinner and fruit pot pie, 2 cheetos puffs, soup and swab. Also tried pain rub. Done at past 9 am. Then called client before I left 99 Cents and called her again on my way to asked her if she wants me to drop by to Vons and get the milk as 99 Cents has no milk. So she says yes as we must have the milk. Dropped by to Vons and got the milk and get waffles. Spent $4.88 with my card. Got to clients home at past 9:30 am. Client already awake, put dog outside. Made client tea and 1 waffle. Did whatever needs to be done. Shampooed carpet on the vacant room near the kitchen. Prepared lunch before 11:30 am. Client had tuna sandwich for lunch and water for drink and zucchini for vege. Woke her u pas she was sleeping. Had also made bacon sandwich for her meal whenever she's hungry as I'm off tomorrow (Thursday.) Gave blood pressure med. before 12:30 pm. Client was lying down in bed, sleepy when I left. Left at 12:32 pm. Also client told me Rite-Aid pharmacy called yesterday about a prescription ready. :)

Jan. 10 (Thursday) = OFF!

Jan. 11 (Friday) = Arrived, client sleeping. Dog was walking into the kitchen when I got in, and put dog outside. Then went to client's room, Swept room and made tea. Then went into changing the bed sheets and made client 1 waffle after. Also found a check book under the bed while cleaning. Then client told me she had called the bank yesterday to get more check and was told she will receive it in 10 days. Says granddaughter called says her son wants to talk to her, and was told that her house needs to be fix. Says granddaughter also told her that granddaughter called me Wednesday. :) Did laundry too, with the bed sheets. Client fall asleep as she went back to bed after me changing it :) Started making lunch and sweet potato. Client had pastrami sandwich, sweet potato, and zucchini for lunch about 12 noon. Gave her blood pressure med. at about 12:30 pm. When I was to go about 1 pm, told me she's been trying to call Kmart as she wants another slipper, cheaper than the one I got before, the Dearfoams and she wants black color. Then gave me $5 and some cents to spend for dog foods. And I just learned she wants to return or make an exchange as she asked me if I got or saw the Dear foams slippers when I'm about to leave the room. Untangled phone cord before I left and took slippers with me. Client gave me her brown small wallet for the money but hide it on the kitchen and put money and change on ziplock bag. Left at 1:16 pm, client lying in bed trying to sleep.

Jan. 12 (Saturday) = Dropped by to Kohl's and returned the Dearfoam slippers. Got refund of $10.76. Was about to make an exchange as planned but cannot find something that client will like, I think so I called her and let her know. Asked me if Walmart was close to Kohls and since it is, I knew what she meant, so I said I could go to Walmart and look for slippers if they have something I think she might like in there. Went to Walmart and got a slipper size 9/10, called client and let her know. And since I have to get dog food too and she wants me to get dessert, I decided to just get the items in there as well instead of going to another store. Paid cash that client gave me yesterday and the refund from the slippers, $14 cash. Then use my debit card for the  remaining balance as coins wouldn't be enough anyway. Spent $3.52 with my card. Got to client's place before 10 am, client awake, put dog outside. Made her waffle and coffee. Did laundry and cleaned/tidied up kitchen, etc. Wrote a check later as I am going to get a prescription refill ready from Rite-Aid pharmacy. Says she doesn't have enough money for lunch so I just paid for the lunch first. Spent $5.93 from Great Wall Express Chinese food. Got lo mein, orange chicken, and chicken and mushroom and medium Diet Coke drink. Then went to Rite-Aid to pick up medicine, used my debit card to pay for the medicine which is $3.20. Then went on and got other stuff clients wants to get such as the Vidal Sasson hair color, Bengay cream, and Oreo cookies. Also exchange the Revlon hair color I got before and used the check client wrote for paying the items. The young Mexican lady was my cashier :) Client had lunch at 12:15 pm, had lo mein, orange chicken and the chicken and mushroom and half of the Diet Coke. Gave her blood pressure med.past 12:35 pm. Client fall asleep and let her know I'm ready to leave at 1 pm, which waken her up and she started chit chatting about the black robe she got from Kmart, and trying to call the store for slippers and Betty Boop robe. I got out 1:26 pm.
